~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Safe Travel Vibes for DR Ginny & Richard! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Keith's favorite, Old Cape Codhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HT2ao0rcxoAThis one is a recording with photos of Pattie throughout the years.
Pimiento cheese is good on celery. No one else will probably like this, but I also like anchovies on celery.
It's hard to link the songsmith of "Doggie" with the writer of the beautiful score for CARNIVAL.
DR Ginny, have fun in Londres. Can you call some friends and tell them howdy from me?
Ah! My internet connection is back, at least temporarily, so I would just like to say
Bye, again, and thanks so much for all the vibes!
My question for ASK BK Day - although it may be answered in one of the Kritzer books -Did you ever buy a dime store goldfish? What was its eventual destiny?
It's 23 degrees and I have to go back to work.7 more years until retirement (unless I win the lottery).
Celery and peanut butter for lunch today. No more chocolate till next holiday (Valentine's day).
Newark! Our departure from Dayton was almost an hour late, but we're at our London gate in plenty of time.
I thought pbs.org might have the Broadway show, but there's only an excerpt. Each episode of Downton Abbey will be shown in its entirety after it airs.
Good morning, all! Jan 2 has landed, the emails and phone calls have begun, and I had lots of business ro attend to this morning. Thank God nothing is too urgent, but the Man from Philadelphia likes to send long emails.Today, I have some banking - my union pension has now kicked in - and a trip to the post office. Also, a couple of emails.I fell in love with Deborah Kerr at the age of ten when I saw THE KING & I. I think she's wonderful in it and THE INNOCENTS. As to the overrated Greer Garson, who stinks as Lizzie Bennett and Mrs Miniver, I'm better.
DR TCB, in answer to your question of last evening, I'll be working the corner across from yours.
Oh, I don't know. You can't beat Greer Garson in RANDOM HARVEST.
DR ChasSmith, I'm not BK but I'd recommend the Adriana Hofstetter mystery series.
I think we have a new character for the Cell Block in CHICAGO. This Arizona woman is on trial for killing her boyfriend by stabbing him 27 times and then shooting him. She is claiming self-defense. "He had it comin'!"
