I was introduced to it at a college production in the late 70's (78 or 79 I expect) and fell in love with the score

I thought Stephen Colbert was a bit of stunt casting - he can carry a tune OK but it was a bit of stunt casting in my opinion - it wasn''t that he was bad, more that I didn't think he brought anything special to the role

I didn't care for A Little Night Music when it came out - never saw the show just heard the OCR - but I gave it another go with Kritzerland put it out and voila I now love it
