It's Randy's Donuts, isn't it?  Did it change?

Chas, long ago there was a Big Donut at the corner of Sepulveda and Washington Blvd in Culver City. It's no longer there. I don't recall it ever called Randy's Donuts. Bruce? Jane? (Where is Jane?)

I'm thinking of this one, that you could see from the 405:   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy's_Donuts

Or from La Cienega, maybe I'm remember wrong.  But near LAX.

Yes, just like Randy's Donuts' sign, and it was right off the 405, not that far from LAX, but I don't recall it being called Randy's.

Found it.  Bing Maps is calling it that.  See if this works:

BK:  Love the departure in format for OUTSIDE THE BOX.  Is it just a one-time thing for now?

Somehow I lost a post. I was commenting on the OUTSIDE THE BOX episode. I thought it was hilarious, the actors were great, fine voices, and very clever songs (no surprise). Very, very funny.

That happened to me yesterday.  Or was it this morning?  I thought I deleted the post, but maybe it was snatched by unseen forces.

Chas, it looked just like that, but the one I'm thinking of was in Culver City.

In my case, I got an error message that said something was wrong and went POOF!, but I didn't know it had deleted my post.

I liked that, too. And I am sooo glad BK doesn't normally use his Stephen Findle voice.

Next season we'll be doing more of that kind of thing.

Auditions have such a high hilarity ("oh, that 'larity") potential anyway, that it would be a shame not to capitalize on that once in a while.  But I would definitely miss the phone calls to the unsuspecting, if they ever went away.

Congrats to The Vixter! I hope this works out well for her. Will you reveal the nature of the job, Vixmom?

If anyone contemplates weight loss by exercise, I do recommend the Zumba workout.

Oh, I think I will stick to running my marathons.

You know, I was thinking.  I might really like to buy the OCR of ANIMAL FARM.  I really liked the music.

One of my favorite things in this episode is Johnny Dark doing the regional cows.  I love him.  We had to trim a LOT from the auditions, but they'll all be on the Blu-ray as extras.

I've done eleven pages, and begun the new chapter, so I'm done for the day in terms of writing.  Adriana has just figured it all out.  Whew!!!

And I've prepped the eBlast, sent out e-mails about the Outside the Box episode, posted about it on Facebook and I guess I can watch another Downton Abbey episode.  The one I watched earlier, which was the sixth episode, was the best so far.

Me,too. I didn't laugh much at this one, but I think I was more engaged by the different approach.  I thought the premise and what I saw of the presentation wasn't bad!

The only subplot that has become irritating, involves Bates - it's just too much plot machinations just to keep that story line going, and it would be much better without.

To me, most of the laughs are the auditions.  I really wanted the songs to be as if they could work for an actual production, so I knew there wouldn't be as many laughs in the songs this time around and I was fine with that.  There are a few amusing things in the musical portions, but I wanted it to be plausible.

I also loved the regional accents. And our family English major thought it was hilarious.

A lot of fun. Good to see the story from a different angle. Enjoyed the Kay Cole reactions especially.

The library just got in the Lola Falana show from the mid-1970s. Really a lot of fun. Her guest stars on the first episode are Hal Linden and Mohammed Ali. And I seem to remember this first episode.

You must remedy that situation :)
It is a short book

it seems to be mandatory reading  in most US high school

I read it and 35 years later it was still mandatory reading when the Vixter was in high school
