DR Ginny how do you clean your Vera Bradley purses?

Wash them on gentle in the washing machine.  I turn them inside out and put them in mesh lingerie bags.  Also, adding a quarter cup of white vinegar sets the colors.  Hang to dry.

I've never heard of washing a purse in the washing machine. How convenient!

I ended up baking a couple of talapia filets and I'm having them with a bean salad.

DR Ginny--I enjoyed the photos you posted here.  Unfortunately, I can't see the ones on facebook.

Thanks, DR Kevin H.  Wonder why you can't see the ones on Facebook?

That sounds good too. I like tilapia because it's easy to cook and you can do most anything to it.

What cut, or whatever, are you using for the pork?  Or did you go out on the farm and pull some yourself?
LOL. I just used the 3 1/2-pound shoulder roast that the recipe on the packet called for. The liquid doesn't matter. I can have pulled pork soup one day this week for lunch.

Watching one of the biggest pieces of jaw-dropping pieces of WTF ever captured on celluloid, Al Jolson in blackface singing "Goin' to Heaven on a Mule."

Here's an excerpt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jIVuuNcg3w

WTF means "whiteface", right?  ;)
Exactly.

Wow! I know it's a different time and I've heard all the arguments, but Wow!!!

As a child I was fascinated, as in can't turn my eyes away from an accident fascinated, with black face.  Even blacks put on black face  :o
Yes, but they stopped decades before whites did.

Great win for the US NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS for the men!!!

I agree, DR JRand!  There sure were a lot of empty seats in that arena...

Yes....yes there were.  I think DR JANE is right....there is not much of an audience for skating anymore.....maybe come February and the Winter Olympics, that will change.

I have slowly watched less ice skating since Keith retired.  At night I watch tv with him and then prefer not to watch during the day.  When we had a treadmill in the bedroom I would watch while I was walking.

I spent some time this morning going through my closet, as several garments that had been tight are now quite comfortable. "Ooh, this fits," or "Not yet." Some of my jeans are positively baggy now, giving new meaning to the phrase "Big happy pants."

Most of my purses have been denim and I wash those in the machine.  I fear the fabric on this purse will shrink in the wash & I'm not eve sure I can get it to turn inside out because of the size and style.  I will give it a try because it needs to be cleaned.

I just realized, I don't have a mesh bag.  Should I still chance it?

Thanks for the instructions.

Good afternoon. It has rained gently off and on for the last couple of days. It's very nice.

The mesh bag is not a requirement, just an extra precaution.  If your bag has a cardboard support in the base, be sure you take it out before washing!

It sounds lovely for you.  We had snow flurries this morning.  It gave everything a pretty dusting and then melted by late morning.

No cardboard but it has clear plastic in the front flap for what I think it for my driver's license.

they were for the annual congregational  meeting -  we have a luncheon before hand every year -  soup and sandwiches -  all the ladies bring sandwiches and some of the ladies make a soup - this year it was a wonderful chicken noodle
