After several weeks of bitterly cold weather it's turned mild at last. I suspect it won't last because February tends to be the coldest month.

There's been a panic here because beefburgers sold in several of the major supermarkets were tested and found to contains portions of horse meat. One burger was found to be nearly 30% horse. This led to the shelves being cleared of all burgers. Apparently the illegal meat processed by a major supplier, came from Poland.

As I'm presently in the position of having to replace my laptop, I'm "this" close to making a jump from PC to MacBook that I've been seriously considering for some time. It's a big step, starting with price and going from there. And everyone's needs are different, so who can say how much I'll like it. But I'm ready for a change of scenery. And I know I can run Windows if I really want or need certain programs.

I really like my Macbook, DR ChasSmith. I have only used it a couple of times since Dublin, since I have iMacs here and at Toyland, but it will accompany me again this summer!

I won't upgrade until the next time that I need to buy a whole new computer.

My feeling was that it might create melting that would then refreeze, but I think it would depend on conditions, amount of snowfall, etc. Let us know how it works!
