Were you publicizing Dmytryk when he directed THE CARPETBAGGERS?

No, I started with him when he was working on ANZIO.

Actually, I didn't meet him for several months after his wife (actress Jean Porter) hired me.  He was in Italy making the movie.

David is a wonderful actor.  I recorded that production, of course.

David?

Pay attention.  David Garrison.

Perhaps you should pay attention.

I think meant to post your response under the post above mine.

And, here I'm wondering what David Garrison has to do with Eddie Dmytryk or ANZIO.

Hello Everyone!  A new edition of the Broadway Radio Show is now up and running for your listening pleasure.  This time we focus on the recordings of Rebecca Luker to celebrate the release of her new CD "I Got Love: Songs of Jerome Kern."  We will listen to Rebecca perform from her several Broadway shows as well as her other theatrical forays and other miscellaneous recordings.  If you love this amazing soprano, you're in for a real treat featuring lots and lots of music, including rare recordings from "Time And Again" and the Broadway cast of "Mary Poppins."

Back from the monthly reunion lunch.

I completely forgot that I was supposed to have gone in to do the voluntary job today and as soon as I got in I had a phone call asking what had happened to me. Oops!! Good job it's not paid employment or I would be out of a job. I promised to go in tomorrow instead.

We are getting our taxes done this afternoon.

I used to do my taxes separately but because we got married in 2012 we need to file Married in New York State. To do that we need to fill out a Married Federal form, but not file it because the Federal Government is F****d Up when it comes to recognizing SSM. We then have to transfer those numbers to the NY State form. Then we have to re-do our federal tax forms, filling them out as Single and filing them and then go back and file the NY State forms with the married numbers. Stupidity at a whole new level, but I'm still glad I got married!!!

I'm glad all this complication was worth it :)

Am getting a new roof put on the house today, while I'm at work. It seems strange because it's so gray and cloudy, with fairly low clouds, that it looks like it's going to rain at any moment. Can't imagine doing that work in the rain.

Vibes they get the new roof on before it rains!

Thanks, Donald, for the heads up on the Rebecca Luker program. Love her voices and I would love to hear anything from the "Time and Again" score.

We are still in an extreme drought.  We really really need the moisture.
I hope you get the amount of snow you'd like without your roof being too badly affected.
I have a slate roof and it's angled enough so that it doesn't pile up....well my garage roof is flat, but it's strong

DR Laura....I wasn't following the Jodi Arias trial, but have caught up and am now very interested.  The prosecutor was a friend of mine when I lived in Phoenix.  We had at least one trial together and I think we had several trials, it was before he was doing the death penalty cases.  He won, lol, but that was back when I was just starting out.   So, I'm cheering for the prosecution.  Besides, I think she's guilty as sin .

DR George, before my friend David Garrison was on MARRIED WITH CHILDREN, DR Ginny and I had seen him play Snoopy in the Grossman-Hackaday musical SNOOPY, and he'd been one of Harvey Fierstein's replacements in TORCH SONG TRILOGY.

I didn't know about those roles.  I knew that he had performed on quite a few recordings, though.
