Good idea, JRand. And check back with that seller on a regular basis for more Broadway stills. He has been going back and forth for the last year with Broadway shows and NY ballet.

Back to the grind tonight, with a reduced band due to absences for which no subs could be found. Tonight and tomorrow they get a piano trio: me, drums and bass. No reeds, no synth. Too bad, because in our first week they got good and were raking in the compliments. But, oh well. Back to normal the final three weeks.

I think that the only Altman films that I've seen are "Popeye," "Come Back To the Five and Dime..." and "MASH."

And even though I've never seen the movie "Nashville," I'm really enjoying the TV show.

When I first saw POPEYE (on some horrible commercial-laden TV broadcast), I hated it. Years later I took another look at the DVD and found quite a bit of it interesting, mostly in how they portrayed the flavor of the characters and their surroundings. Even the music started to seem, well, all right for the occasion. Can't imagine it ever being a favorite in any category, but I'll revisit it again someday and see what happens.

Still getting the runaround from Fed Ex. Waiting for a supervisor to call me back - she just called - package was promised by one. She texted the driver - she's taking her sweet time even though she was told we had to be her first stop - I'm sure her first stop was a donut shop or something - now the ETA is two. I told the supervisor that if it was one minute past two I would not be paying the humungous fee for doing this shipment.

Wow, Leo Ciceri (pictured above) died just 15 years later, in 1970 at age 46 in a traffic accident in Canada.

I am not sure how that costume is made.....but I am pretty certain it was not constructed to be worn while sitting down....and there seems to be a keyhole just below the belt buckle.....

Very sad news: Del Tenney, director (and sometimes actor) of such 1960S made in Stamford, CT classics as CURSE OF THE LIVING CORPSE, I EAT YOUR SKIN, SATAN IN HIGH HEELS, and HORROR OF PARTY BEACH passed away in Jupiter, Florida on February 21 at age 82.

Who among us can ever forget this "First Horror Monster Musical" ?
