Yes, it was good news at the doctor's today. The ultrasound showed no sign of cancer recurring after the operation last February.

Now, the blood test will not likely to offer such good news, but I won't hear about that until next week.

Watching a lovely movie from Peru called "Contracorriente" or "Undertow." A fisherman with a pregnant wife is madly in love with the painter who lives in town. When the painter dies, his soul comes back but only the fisherman can see him. And the fisherman has to come to terms with himself.

I had a dream that I was in a cancer clinic - I am not sure why I was there , whether I was being treated , or tested or what - but I was sitting but the waiting room while a fat middle aged woman dressed in "old fashioned " nurse uniform - white cap and all - was haranguing some poor - quizzing them on medical terms and insisting they knew the right terms and taunting them by saying how are you ever going to get well if you can't even learn your vocabulary words - I started shouting at the woman telling her that she was evil and had no business working with patients and that if she could show kindness and compassion and dedicate herself to serving then she should go work in a garbage dump - I was really worked up about this standing up and yelling - then I woke up and realized I was actually standing up and actually yelling

Fortunately I managed to not wake anybody up (besides myself)

I have NO idea where that dream came from
