To inject a bit of humor into the passing of Margaret Thatcher, some folks are upset, not because Lady Thatcher died but because

They Think Cher Died!!!

There is a hashtag on Twitter #nowthatchersdead and if you read quickly you "might" think that Cher died (now that Chers dead) along with Annette, Mrs. Thatcher and Roger Ebert. Rest assured, Cher is still with us.

Thanks for the vibes - what's really great (or maybe more sad about the supposedly gay-friendly site DataLounge, depending on how you look at it) is that the positive energy makes me get on the stick and look for evidnece, and yesterday I found two GREAT pieces of evidence I didn't know I'd had for the case against the site which allowed (and one of its rogue employees even - it turns out - had to have participated in) the stalking by Jon Frank's friends to go on and on.

I found concrete proof the site (DL) had actually gone in and altered posts of someone working on my show, to language that was meant to make him look like an idiot.  If they had just removed the post, they'd be OK and within their rights, but actually changing the post and keeping his "screen name signature" on it shows that the site had an employee who had bad intentions of making fun of someone saying something positive about me - in addition to whatever the posting stalkers were doing.  So thanks for the vibes - they caused action - spurred me on to quite a discovery.  They're not just an innocent site that can say they are not responsible for what their users post anymore.  (This is not TB, but that other site DL.)

Basically, i was able to get a copy of the DataLounge page before the rogue employee changed it.  And of course we have the post with the rogue employee's nasty change.  guess they assumed nobody would be saving anything, and maybe normally they'd be right, but in this case...

Great discovery, Fred!

(BTW, HERRINGBONE CD should be out in the next few months. B.D. Wong emailed Skip, says the mastering was delayed due to unexpected work and everyone's volunteering their time, but should be soon.)

Thanks for the update!  I can't wait to hear it. :D

I just finished listening to A TIME FOR SINGING.

Enjoyed it very much.

I'm thinking it might have been a mistake to change the narrator from the boy (i.e. the adult Roddy McDowell character) to the minister (Walter Pidgeon), but then I didn't see the production.

And I am home. UPS came and did not knock loudly on the door as requested. From the time UPS claims he tried to deliver whatever the hell it is, I was on the phone talking to a potential leading man and never heard the taps of the delivery man. I did learn from the receipt left on the door that the package is not for me but for my colleague Curtis. I am still angry over this schmuck jerk UPS man. He'll hear about it tomorrow.

Good day!  I've played a funeral, went to the gym, and now I'm home.  Going to prepare lunch, get a shower, and then it's back to the coat show.  Kids have been on spring intercession for three weeks - and man, did that go by fast.

Thanks, george.  How i wish they actually hadn't been so awful and caused all this mess to happen because obviously they as the owners of dataLounge, had they not supported those people, could have stopped what they were doing, as other sites did.  But  since they had been and the damage all happened, i'm VERY grateful i found the actual hard copy evidence after all these months, which wouldn;t have happened without being spurred to action by friends like you

No CD yet.

Mine just arrived!

I mis-spoke. Our mail never comes at a regular time anymore. When I came home from work I assumed there had been no mail but I was wrong. I just checked and my CD was in the box.

I'll listen to it tomorrow while at work.

Thanks for the shoulder vibes. It was really bad last night (the worst it's ever been).  I heated, iced, heated. I tried a big pillow at the side of the bed. I think it helped a bit. I tried to hold my shoulder while I get out of bed.

It still hurts. But better than yesterday.  Does anyone have anything else you can do? Are ice and heat even the right things to do?

I think you did to go for physical therapy.

Chas Smith - catching up and read about your vet - so sorry to hear that sad news

DR ChasSmith - Yes, sorry to hear that. The vet I visit also died a few months ago after a short illness. He was only 60 and was a wonderful, kind man. There was a tribute to him in the local paper and the veterinary practice was overwhelmed with messages of condolences. I'd been visiting him with my pets for over 20 years and will miss seeing him.

Very sad.  I'm sorry for your loss.

Just read that Margaret Thatcher died.

The TV news here is reporting nothing else.

John G - Well, actually unless it means that it's enough leverage to make DataLounge want to settle, it really means the beginning of a worthwhile legal claim, because now it seems like a fight really worth fighting tooth and nail for.    So far, it seems their reaction to adversity has been to get nastier somehow.

But at least now I know the proof is there that they can't act all innocent  like twitter and say "It was just the people who use our service, not us"  -

It was at the very least one of their own employees actually involved in the bad acts (which was suspected, now there's hard evidence).  the owners may try to distance themselves from that, but let's see if they can when it's so 100% clear now, when they'd been told months ago this was happening and they did nothing to stop it..

Not in Tumwater, either.

They have arrived!  I'll be listening to both of them today!

BK, I just noticed something.  I don't know if this matters, but the CD for A Time for Singing doesn't have the "LIMITED EDITION This CD is limited to 1500 copies" message on the back, like your other CDs.

Just an observation.
