I'm sure you will appreciate not being dependent on others to work your own site. ;)

Exactly.  I can finally do everything I want and not have to be at someone's behest who, despite designing the site and implementing everything, has not been available for even the tiniest bit of help in over five years.  It will be a thrill to have interviews again, and video and audio things - can't wait till it's all propagated and done.

Here is an article from CNN about the killing of the soldier in London

Soldier Attack London

What I found even more shocking than the crime itself was once the man had been killed, and one of the "terrorists" was ranting on to a camera filming him; a woman nonchalantly brushed past the crazed man to get wherever she needed to go.

My God, there is a dead man laying on the sidewalk, a crazed man with blood, literally, on his hands; and she is in a hurry to get to the market.

DR ELMORE - I had NOBODY on the second night....so I used the five people that showed up on the first day.

I am now going in for the read  thru.....which I think will  be only Act One.....and of course photography of munchkins.

DR TCB.....they don't want to pay for anything.  I hate the idea that we even do theatre in our main season with these brats...and expect our season ticket holders to pay regular prices to see the little darlings that for the most part should not be allowed in a theatre without a ticket - and only then in the back and tied to their chairs.

One of what we all are Pelli.  Less than a drop in the great blue motion of the sunlit sea. But, it seems that some of the drops sparkle, Pelli. Some of them do sparkle.

I forgot that tomorrow I am stuck here awaiting a delivery.   I will do laundry tomorrow morning, most likely during the predicted thunderstorm and then wait. I will hit Toyland on Friday.

I think I'll stay home and clean tomorrow.
Then you can come clean my place. Please?  ;D

I've started the Howard Keel-Ann Blyth version of "Rose Marie." Nice voices, dreadful songs interpolated into the score and inert direction. I may not finish it tonight.

Had some salmon and a shrimp cocktail, neither of which was stellar and both of which are making me a little nauseous.  Picked up some packages, did some banking, and now I'm home, doing fun stuff to the ghost board.  I've made a new place to discuss all the BK books, which was fun, and I'm going to add Outside the Box to the Nudie Musical board so both can be discussed there separately from the Daily Discussion boards.  I'm truly shocked I've been able to figure all this out and do stuff without killing everything.

I think that is great.  BTW, didn't I ASK BK a question?

Well, BK, it seems America shares your views:

Time Warner. Comcast. AT&T. If the names of these Internet service providers make you cringe, you're not alone.

On Tuesday, the American Customer Satisfaction Index released its annual report on "key industries that provide data, voice and video services to U.S. households." For the first time, ISPs were included in the report, along with regulars like the wireless and fixed-line telephone industries.

ISPs received the lowest customer satisfaction ranking of any industry in America. And that's saying something, considering ACSI typically surveys nearly 50 industries per year.

Comcast received the lowest score among Internet service providers, with a customer satisfaction ranking of just 62 percent. Time Warner Cable pulled a close second with only 63 percent of customers satisfied, and CenturyLink took home the bronze in the most-hated stakes with 64 percent of customers content. The Internet service provider industry as a whole had an average customer satisfaction rating of only 65 percent, with just one provider (Verizon FIOS) topping 70 percent satisfaction.

From DR TCB:
Quote
I only have ten visits with a therapist left in 2013 through my insurance policy.  For now, I will hold on to them.

You know the old saying, if what you are doing doesn't work try something new.

I highly suggest you find out if those 10 sessions can be done with a PT therapist that does pool therapy.

My PT has pool therapy.

Back from CLEOPATRA...  which is one long frickin movie, lemme tell you.  Fascinating, though, with some great eye and ear candy.

And we beat out the afternoon show's audience of two.  There were FIVE of us.  So we win.

They must not advertise these things where normal people read, watch, or listen.  If I weren't heavily involved with keeping up with this kind of good stuff online, I have no idea if these showings would have any way of coming to my attention.  Oh well.  I had a very rewarding evening, and I look forward to checking out the Blu-ray next week.

I remember loving the pomp, but so much of the script was really ludicrous. I preferred the way the TV series "Rome" handled it.

Oh yes, some of the script is just crazy.  Hollywood, baby.  One of these days I'll watch "Rome".  I wasn't much interested when it was first playing, but I think its time is coming for me.

Oh, my eye doctor said my eyes look really good and I don't have any sun damage.  Well duh, I don't go out in the sun.  Anyway, my prescription changed just a little.  I ordered new glasses and new sunglasses.  Yikes!  It gets expensive.

I sincerely hope that the continued coverage of the Moore Tornado will result in higher donations for the victims.

Jane had snow today, and Seattle and Portland had the lowest daytime temperature in the lower 48.  Obviously Ashland is not considered a city in the lower 48.
