Thanksgiving dinner, for me, was cheese and crackers followed by a bowl of soup.  All accompanied by a fine cranberry juice and Diet Sierra Mist cocktail!

now my heart hurts

My dad has an ancient computer that takes what seems like weeks to load any images.  I've been listening to family members say for years that they are going to get him set up with a new one.  But it never seems to happen. Today I told him to sit down and we were going to go on Amazon and computer shop. All he does is internet and email and a few photos.    We found one, and in checking out, I discovered he hasn't used the gift certificates we've been giving him for years.   He had over $181.00 in gift certificates credit!  He just wanted a basic desktop, so he's got a new one coming for $148!  That price was enough for him to get very excited about it.   Me too!

Hello, Dolly! is on TCM right now.   And don't forget -- Back to Brooklyn on PBS at 9 pm in most areas!!

It is on from 8 to 11 here; so it must be "pledge month."

Glad that DR CILLA LIZ had a fine feast.....

I shall return to work tomorrow.

Tonight there is a new episode of DRACULA that I will try to watch without falling asleep.

Jerry's vibes for MR BK.

Thanks JRand.  A fine feast followed by hilarious laughter.  Doesn't get better than that

Why?  I turned down three invitations so I could just sit back and relax.  I did manage to get dressed, but just barely.

That makes me feel better.  Choosing to stay home and relax for a holiday can be great.  Not choosing to be alone is a different story

We have returned from dinner at Olive Garden with my sister and her husband and their daughter.  Mother was invited but was too pooped to participate.

PBS has screwed up my Britcoms tonight, which is most distressing. I think I'll read a bit until GRIMM come-on, catch that and go to bed.

I hope so.  I know several educators who would like to evaluate it.

Let me know if you enjoy this week's episode of GRIMM.  Unfortunately, I won't be seeing it tonight.  Hopefully I can watch it online.
