This morning I saw a poster on FB for a missing girl, Amy Hamilton. Something about it didn't seem right. I have now researched and sure enough it is a hoax. It is such an easy thing to google a name before sharing missing people as fact. Slicking on the photo for any missing person or pet will often show that they have been found.

The placements for the long program were mostly correct. However, I do not believe they were correct in the short program. Adelina Sotnikova was scored way too high for her technically "light" short program. And where did those high component (artistry/presentation) scores come from for her?

Someone on the internet today suggested Mao Asada's rise from 16th to 6th was a gift based on her reputation. I took exception to the remark. Ashley Wagner takes herself way too seriously, IMO. She scares me a bit. I also don't enjoy watching her skate. I'm thinking the judges find her a bit much, as well.

I don't think Sotnikova came anywhere NEAR matching Carolina Kostner's component elements and a "fair" assessment of the former's skate would likely have seen the same three on top but in different positions.

Not having watched the competition this year I don't have an opinion on the scoring. I am disappointed more hasn't been discussed concerning the fact Ashley Wagner used a derogatory racial slur against Gypsies when she said “I feel gypped.”

Yes, I realize she probably has no idea how hurtful that comment is to Gypsies who are poorly treated.

DR Jennifer will appreciate this....

I switched insurance companies and they sent my new info and card in a plastic folder. After just 1 minute looking at it and getting my new card out of it my lips itch, my throat is scratchy, and I have a headache. I'm airing out the paperwork to look at later.

Have you always had low blood pressure? Mine tends to run low.

I only remember 2 times when my blood pressure was NOT low - once, during the week in 2003 when Richard and my Mother both had outpatient surgery, Richard retired, and I assumed new job responsibilities. And, in 2010, when I was riding to the hospital in an ambulance having a heart attack.

He's concerned because it's lower than low and my heart rate is, too. Because of the heart attack, I have to take a beta blocker, but he's prescribed a different one to replace the one I've been on for 3 & a half years.

Vibes the new beta blocker works better!!! It is good your new doctor is trying different approaches.

For years I carried my blood pressure numbers in my wallet. I stopped when they went up us. I began after hearing a woman I knew talk about having to stop the doctors at the emergency room from giving her husband drugs to raise is blood pressure which was where it normally was and unrelated to the emergency.

George, the original concept for the movie was like The Bad News Bears in the west. It was very hokey and jokey, with way too many characters, no focused leads, too much screenwriting 101, and it just didn't work for me at all. It might have way back when, but I just went in a whole other direction with the book - it does have one character that, for me, and certainly for a few of the folks who've read it, is very funny and there are assorted laughs, but it's not a comedy.
