With all the FROZEN commercials, i have to say I find the award winning song really awful, and it isn't helped by Idina Menzel and her ungraceful manner of screaming a song.

Well my 4 year old niece told me that "Let It Go" is the best song from Frozen, which she has now seen 3 times. :)

Condolences to DR Rayko.  I love celebrating those who pass.  It's such a wonderful tribute

Well, ok I'll be in the audience and they'll be on the stage, but when I saw they were going to be in Sioux City on their Move Live Tour on my birthday , I had to get a ticket

The vip packages are outrageously priced and I wasn't about to do that, but I did discover that where there was a single seat in the VIP group, they priced it at regular prices.  Still more than I like to spend, but for my birthday it will be worth it

I have stopped buying an extra ticket for things I want to see.  While it's nice to go with someone, the last 3 or 4 times I've done it I've gotten stuck with a ticket,, so it's singles for me baby

I made the foolish mistake of saying three days before the first day f spring that I hadn't had a cold all winter.   I am now suffering for that mistake.  This is the worst cold I've had in years

Seriously, one of the VIP packages is $410 an includes a meet and greet and a photo with them, and a few other things, but really?  I can't imagine anyone here paying that.  The second package is $200 something and includes a group photo with them. That's insane here.

The fun part is I'll be sitting next to someone who could have paid 6 times what I did and I'm on the aisle.

Thanks Jane.  It's just a miserable cold.  Like all the miserable colds I've had in the past.  I made some chicken soup today....after bacon and eggs and before a BLT.  I'm feeding a cold, lol.  Actually I'm drowning this cold. I've had so much water I can't believe it.

But I am a lot worse than I was yesterday or the day before, so i'm glad I stayed home.  I'm supposed to play my flute at a nursing home on Sunday.  I'm not going to do it unless I have a miraculous recovery.  There is another flute who is going to double on my part that day anyway so I'm covered.   She's going to play another gig I can't make so this was the rehearsal for her.

I have to admit I keep turning back to the coverage of the missing plane.  CNN's coverage has actually gotten more interesting, they are doing a lot about the different technology being used the ocean currents the remoteness of this part of the world.  I've actually learned quite a bit by watching.   I really hope they solve this mystery

I'm working a 5K run at 8 in morning, handing out wine to people as they finish. Then it's off to judge a barbecue contest.

So, I'm packing it in tonight. Sleep well, all.

I did have a physical with my new Doc on Wednesday.  She called me on Thursday to tell me based on my blood tests and my blood pressure I have only a 1.8 percent chance of a heart attack in the next 10 years.  Cool.  I don't know if I believe all that, but it's nice to hear that I don't have a problem with my heart. She is getting me scheduled for my first colonoscopy......probably in May.  She's a resident, but she really spent time with me and I told her about my frustrations with the lack of communication.  She's been great about communicating with me.   Waiting for the results of the rest of the tests, but so far, I'm really healthy....except for this cold

Well, I've been at work for far too long.  I'm heading out.  I need to feed my friend Margo's cats, so I'll do that, then a little shopping, then home.

Be back later!

Well, maybe "fall in love" is a bit strong. But I was certainly interested!     :)

Tonight we ate with in-laws at a Russian restaurant. The food was very interesting. Lots of vodka was consumed. (Not by me). There was also a roving accordion player.     ???
