DR Jane - I am doing slightly better today; thank you.  DR ChasSmith - not a repair of a previous operation, just to fix the condition. Once the repair was done, they put in a bit of mesh to reinforce the area.

It's a stupid commercial they're shooting - it's the same production company every week - like there's only one house in one neighborhood at which to shoot.  I HATE these people.  And yes, they've parked where they shouldn't, once again.  Since I'm gone in a half hour I don't care.

Why is this house so popular?

Vibes for Jane for the procedure.

Thank you.  I am home and done with the easy part.  It is once the numbing shots wear off I might not be happy.  Most of all I just hope it completely heals and does it with great speed.

I'm nervous as I'm having a little procedure done on my toe today.  I have an ingrown toenail, the result of not being able to reach my toes after my shoulder surgery.  It is odd how a shoulder injury caused so many little problems with my feet when I couldn't take proper care of them.

I hope I don't regret doing this.  I expect most people wait until the pain is greater than mine or there are more issues.  I am walking slower on the treadmill and not jogging.  To me that is a big problem.

~~~Quick and Easy Procedure Vibes for Jane!!~~~
The entire process took about 35-40 minutes with only about 5 of those minutes for the actual procedure ;)
DR Jane, it is probably good that you are not waiting to have the procedure done. No sense it letting it get worse.
That is my thought.  At the moment I'm hoping I don't regret not doing them both as I suspect I shall have to eventually do the other foot.
That is a pretty good time.  You can take a nap, if needed, when you get home and then enjoy an easy day.
Elmore, am enjoying listening to the concert.   Is that you in the 4th row on the aisle?
I think the concert went very well; it was recorded and is up on the Church's website:
http://www.trinitywallstreet.org/videos?field_event_category_tid=481&field_event_category_tid_1=All&sort_by=field_datetime_value&sort_order=DESC
We are the Concerts at One for 5/15.
I can be seen sitting on the right about four rows from the front.
This is great!  I hope I remember to view the other two concerts in the series. :)
The lady in front of me is Meggie Cansler's mother. I spent the morning rehearsal moving all about the church to listen to the singers and piano balance, and it was nice to sit and just enjoy the performances.
Great concert, Larry. I really enjoyed it
Thanks! I will miss next week's so I'm happy that I can watch it online.  I'll be at rehearsal on Monday and Tuesday.  I suggested that Rob's partner Chase come in on Wednesday and check out hw they're doing in front of the music stands and keep an eye on balances, etc.
And I'm that way about the cell phone, too.  I was a late-adopter of cell phones (I got my first one a few months after 9/11), and I really use them mostly for utility purposes and essentials -- getting and making necessary calls, the occasional necessary text, and having my email with me.  Of course I do a few other things -- sometimes keep up with HHW and HTF, etc. -- but even though I don't live on it all day and night like the Young People do, I never want to be without it.  It really is essential these days.  Another new procedure after yesterday's incident is to use the damned belt clip and likewise keep the phone on my person when out and about.  ESPECIALLY when out and about in foreign lands such as beautiful downtown Carlisle, PA.   :)
Carlisle PA!  My  Nana lived there for a while in the late 1960's .  I watched the moon landing with her  in her apartment in Carlise PA
I'm up, I'm up.  Fell asleep around one-fifteen, up at three-fifteen, back asleep at five-thirty and up at nine thanks to someone from the film crew shooting at the usual house down the street - NINE o'clock in the morning asking if he can pay me and serve lunch to the cast and crew on the front lawn.  I said absolutely not.
you do know that regular people are at their desks at 9 AM  -it is not the middle night   ;)
  and you should have said yes to the picnic and  charged them $100.oo a head   :D
Craig and Keith now feel bad they wouldn't take me to Vienna when we were 45 minutes away.
Really?!  I would have  found a cab and gone on my  own ! :)
Stange dreams this morning.  I woke up at 8, but decded to go back to sleep.  My very first dream was me picking up a mug of hot coffee and then losing my grip and dropping the mug in my lap (which of course was in bed).  I jumped myself awake and I scared the Hell out of Nicky!
Then later, I was attending (or was in) a production of GUYS AND DOLLS.   I assume it was Jack's production.  The entire dream revolved around my confusion over the new song in the score.  "If That's A New Hourglass, Then Your Time Is Running Out."
