Is the site running slow tonight, right now?  Seems kind of slow on my end.  Hmmm...

Jane--Thank you for your kind words!  I never found the owner, but I hope by tomorrow someone will have buried the poor kitty.

Jose--I will definitely say hi to Mary K!  She's a very nice lady!  I'm actually not going to VTAs/SETCs this year, as I'm already so busy (just finished my "A New Brain" proposal, woohoo), but I definitely want to try next year!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JENNY!!!!

Look what you've accomplished at just 16.  Love you lots!

Speaking of cats...

Charles and John, the owners of Cafe Zeus, were telling us that the kittens of Miss Kitty, who were born just below the steps leading from the restaurant to the patio, decided to take their first steps out into the world right before Charles and John had to head off for the Celebrity Chef's Brunch Sunday.  Miss Kitty was a little freaked, of course, but the kittens all did fine, and cozied up to John like he was their long lost daddy.

When the kittens are all weaned, Miss Kitty and the kittens are all heading to the vets.  While they're a safeguard against vermin (and there are absolutely no mice or roaches at Cafe Zeus), it's the most responsible way to care for the little ones.

I just had a nice shower. No massage, no Jacuzzi, but I got wet. Does that count?

I half-watched some stupid remake of DON'T BOTHER TO KNOCK (I think it was called THE BABYSITTER.)
Now the real thing is playing. MM is so beautiful. And Richard Widmark is great - funny, sexy. Plus Anne Bancroft sings up a storm.

Tis a far far better thing...  I don't know why I typed that, it just came out as if I were suddenly posessed by Ronald Colman.

I've begun watching The Empire Strikes Back.  Ronald Colman isn't in it.  Damn them, damn them all to hell.  Looks spiffy, though.

Can you go blind from sitting in a Jacuzzi too much.  My vision is always sketchy when I come in after a nice fifteen or twenty minutes submerged in the heated water.
