First day of dancing in close to a week. It felt good.

Watching The Desert Rats. Great Alfred Newman score. Love the variations on Greensleeves in the background.

Hit a Half-Price Books in Austin with a friend on Saturday. She found a Korean DVD of Fellini's White Sheik for $2. What a find!

I got the Kristin Chenoweth version of Candide for a few bucks and a two-CD set of British radio shows called "15 Minute Musical." But I would have liked that White Sheik.

Love that store.  Only been in one a couple of times, in the NW Dallas suburbs.  But I always found something to take home.

Well, well, well...  Julie Andrews will be writing her bio, part 2 - taking up at the beginning of her film career.

Really enjoyed the first volume, so that makes me want the second.

Thank you.  I watched that many times back in the day ... on my Beta Hi-Fi tape that I'm afraid long ago disappeared.

That completely uninterrupted camera shot is a lesson in so many things -- from Price's artistry, to the relatively simple broadcasting methods then, to audience expectations, both in the opera house and at home.  Today, that would be turned into a multi-camera special effects extravaganza that couldn't even touch that moment.

And now, I'm off to the theater.  HELL WEEK BEGINS!!  We open Friday...pray for Rosemary's baby! ;)

Until later!

We're into the second act and I have a while before I go on again.

I like Blue Bunny ice cream. I had it in Florida but have never seen it here.

It's made in LeMars, Iowa, the Ice Cream Capitol of the World!!!!

Um, maybe I'm misreading this, but it appears we are still on page four.  Surely that must be a mistake and don't call me surely.

Kiddies, page four doesn't cut the mustard, doesn't cut the mayo, and doesn't get the ketchup.  Help out here, for heaven's sake before I get out the bitch slap machine.
