Thought I'd try my hand at the new board effects.  Hope it works! :)

I guess I should be honest and  say that at first, I didn’t realize that the Note page was still there–I thought that site was gone and this was the only site now.  I had book marked this page and unmarked the old one.  Now that I realize there are still two sites, I corrected my error.

It would be hard for me to pick just one Play/Musical I would want to see/be a part of from beginning to end.  POTO, DOTV, Le Miz, Chitty,?  How does one choose?

My bit of trivia for the day–how many people here know why we have Day Light Savings Time?  Most of you will be to young but the reason was (as far as I know and I could be wrong) because of WW I & II.  They wanted an extra hour for the factories and farmers to be able to work because they went into blackout mode at night in case we were bombed.  

At least that’s what my Mom told me.  I still can’t believe my Mother was a welder (Pittsburgh Steel) on the big ships doing the war!

I wanted to ask those of you plunked the cash for “Taken”–were you?  I tried to watch it the first time it was on the Sci Fi channel, couldn’t do it.  Tried again the 2nd time, still couldn’t sit through it.  

I can't get the picture to work--A question for the tech board, I know.

Well, I'm off to usher for "Stories from Mama's Table."  It's two different women's a cappella choirs, one is from the U.S. (maybe even Washington state, I'm not sure) and the other is from Eastern Europe.  They're singing about the stories that women tell around the dinner table...or at least it has something to do with passing on stories while eating.  It sounds quite interesting and I've heard that both groups are very good!  I'll check back in afterwards.

Danise: They are not separate sites.  haineshisway.com is the site, of which this board is a part.  Sure you can bookmark this part of it separately, but you should always go to haineshisway.com first, each morning, to read the new notes, then come here via the link at the end of them.

TCB, Mr. Cal Bolder is one of my favorite actors!!!

You might recall him from that classic film JESSE JAMES MEETS FRANKENSTEIN'S DAUGHTER in which he had the starring role of hunky Hank the cowpoke who gets turned into a Frankenstein monster by the evil daughter of Dr. Frankenstein! LOL!

He was also in HELLER WITH PINK TIGHTS and a few other movies. And he guest starred on lots of TV shows such as BONANZA, MAN FROM UNCLE, GUNSMOKE, etc.

He seems, however, to have completely disappeared off of the face of the earth as I am totally unable to find out what has ever become of him!

MBarnum, that first picture you posted of Cal has a marked resemblance to you, young man. A square jaw, that short haircut, lips slightly parted to show just enough teeth, he's wearing a leather something around his neck and your shirt is open in much the same manner. Are you sure you didn't have a secret life as a B-movie hunk in the 50s???

B-movies were named after Mr Border; south-of-the-Border, don't know what what the names for those movies....
