Awww, Facebook has been having outages today - people are DYING because they cannot access it - they're taking to Twitter because they cannot for one second not be connected.

I only go to Twitter to read #nexttoKimDavis' funny rants.

Our poor former dear readers (who now apparently include Ben, who doesn't even make a cursory post ever anymore) are all atwitter about Facebook being down.  Too bad they can't come back here to post.  Their hands are probably shaking :)

I donated to the SAMI SHOW IndieGo campaign, so my CD should come from that account.

I don't think Ben's a former DR.  It's my impression that the new job location, travel time, the workload, and stress have screwed up his former schedule.

Ben has never been on Facebook.  But you know what - all of us here have busy schedules, workloads and stress, travel time, job location issues - if you want to post, you post, it's pretty simple, and his usual "I'm eating oatmeal" posts take exactly how long to make?  Three seconds?  It's comforting to see those posts but he's been gone for months now and when you do that it's doubtful there will be a return.

Once I got over my recording angst, it's turned into a pretty good day.  I will be happier when I know about this computer setup.

With all the traveling and computer access, I expect to be E&T most of next week.  I'm sure I can use my sister-in-law Jo's computer, but after the weekend, I suspect Monday-Wednesday to be pretty fraught with madness.

I don't mind saying I'M crabby in the past hour because my week-old modem/router is giving us fits.  Fortunately, it manages to reset itself, but it's just as well a technician is coming out tomorrow to check everything over thoroughly, and even replace the son of a bitch (again) if necessary.

I'm driving over on Monday, visiting and dealing with a (distant) death that happened a week ago, and driving back home on Thursday.  Tight one.

Yes, these former dear readers occasionally make me crabby.  Better than shrimpy or orange roughy.

I don't know how this got by me as I've been following it for the past two years - but here is a rather amazing statistic - REALLY amazing.  At some point in the past year, we passed 1,000,000 posts on this here board.  Yes, you heard that right - one MILLION posts.  I think that's pretty astonishing, don't you?  In fact, were 29,000 posts over a million.

This IS amazing!

Why are there twenty people in my house?  It doesn't help my father get any better, and I don't want to hear your chatter.

It's like an irritating Facebook page come to life.  I don't even KNOW some of them. If you came to see my dad, go see him and leave.

We had two of those former DRs for lunch on Saturday.  It did give me a few posts ;D

They both look good and are doing well.  We found our directions needed revising as the one known for getting lost did and it was partially our fault.

I didn't hang around long enough to worry about it, plenty of other things to do with my limited time on Keith's computer.  At the moment I am using his iPad.

Keith likes the first appointment in the morning to have his car worked on.  6:30 to leave after barely sleeping was too early.  At least the moon and sunrise make it worth it.  I can barely see straight right now I am so overtired.
