Three people standing in the internet cafe arguing because the daily planner said the tech guy was in at 2:00, but the posted hours say the hours are three to six.

This one lady convinced the other two people to leave their name and cabin number with her, because she was going to sit right there and wait for the tech guy at 3:00 pm.

They left their names with her, and at soon as they were gone, she left.

I'm up, I'm up - nine and a half hours of sleep and I think I'm feeling a bit better today, at least so far.  Must now do stuff and then get ready to pick up Lanny and then eat something easy on the tummy.

DR Ginny,  now that I have begun reading My Antonia I  cannot imagine a woman narrating it.

I know, right?  George Guidall was perfect.

George Guidall is perfect on most every book he reads.

I think his reading of Beach Music and I Know This Much Is True are better than the books themselves.

DR John G, have I ever told you about the tour Richard and I had of the Recorded Books studio in NYC?  We got to observe George recording Nathaniel Philbrick's Mayflower.

Stupid.  I'm glad you found Guidall.  So far I'm enjoying it and am glad I switched books.

There is a well know audio book place in Ashland, which is probably why some of the more popular Shakespeare actors were known to read the books.

Sometimes I wish I could listen to a book instead of reading.

Everyone with cabins on the port side of Deck 9 heard my scooter mournfully beep every six feet.

Oh no ;D

Fortunately, the cabin steward was in my cabin and heard my my plaintive (x-rated) cry.

What a relief!!!

DR TCB:  Does your battery re-charge?

Yes, it does.

Does it take longer to charge it on the ship than at home?

When putting chocolate syrup on my sundae, I had to account for wind drift, so the sauce didn't end up on my hand, instead of the sundae.

Funny.  Having almost blown overboard on our last cruise I get it.

Act one notes typed and sent.  Now I have to go through Act Two.  No word from Joshie.

My Antonia is a book that I look both to read and to listen to. Big Willa Cather fan.

Wonderful. I've even got a recording of a musical, Yours, Anne (based on The Diary of Anne Frank), in which he sings.
