Me too DR ELMORE - but we at least showed our vast musical knowledge......I had forgotten it was featured in BLITHE SPIRIT......strange that Coward didn't use one of his songs or write one of his own for the show......

In HIGH SPIRITS it becomes "Forever and A Day."

Long day so far. And it seems like it's only stretching longer.

It is already after seven.  The steward just knocked on the door wanting to turn down the bed.  I told him not to bother because I was staying in this evening.

What happened to dear reader George?  Unusual for him not to show up late.  Hope all is okay.

All is well.  I went to bed early so that I could get up early to go to an early eye appointment this morning.  I'm getting new lenses put in an older set of frames and will probably wear those again.  Now, I'll have a regular set that I'll wear all the time, and two, count 'em, TWO back-up pairs. :)

I have the HIGH SPIRITS LP, but I never listened to it.  I liked the photographs on the cover and inside......I think I got it new for $1.00 at the drug store with all the Cut Out stamps on it.

I used to love to find those little gems in the dollar record bin.  That was how I discovered SHE LOVES ME.

And, of course, those 101 Strings albums.  How many hundreds of albums did they release?

I just about wore that album out before I finally bought the OBC recordings of those shows.

Hey, DRs Ginny and Jrand65!

Travel dates are finally set.  I'll be in Cincinnati visiting with family on Monday and Tuesday the 9th and 10th, and I've reserved the 11th as a completely free day for touring Beautiful SW Ohio and/or Indiana.

Would Wednesday the 11th work for a get-together?  I believe that was one of DR Ginny's free days, but if anything's come up in the meantime, since it took me a while to formulate my plans, of course I'll understand!

DR Jrand65, are you available?  Is there a way we can possibly all meet in one place for lunch or something?  As far as my own driving is concerned, I'll be completely flexible and you two can call the shots.  If your two places are too far apart for conveniently getting together, maybe we can come up with another plan.  Just let me know what y'alls think.

DR CHAS SMITH = May 11 is the day of an Act Two run thru for me....so I usually don't travel too far from the homestead on such days.....I don't trust my transportation that much.....

But we shall see what we shall see.

The scuttlebutt on board the ship is that a passenger is suffering a medical emergency. Supposedly, we are now hauling ass to reach the Azores as early as possible tomorrow morning

Hopefully, the passenger gets help in time!  My former supervisor and her husband used to take month-long cruises every May (before she retired).  She said that it was not unusual to find out at the end of just about every cruise that at least one person had died. :-\

Well, even though a lot more younger people now cruise, they are still basically floating senior centers.
