Monday morning greetings! We are waiting for a crew to come to wash our windows inside and out. Of course, it looks like rain...
DR FJL,
Tom, have you seen many other people on the cruise with scooters like yours? I would think they'd be quite popular in some circles.
Talked to my friend, Mickey, awhile ago. She said Glenn had slept easily through the night and was sleeping much of today. He was awake earlier and got on his iPad to read a few emails. One was from me. It had a picture of the love vine or flame vine that they gave me a few year's back. It's not really supposed to make it this far north, because the winters can get really cold. Theirs died, but mine has proven to be one tough cookie and it's in bloom. She said he was pleased.
Cab drivers are a big no-no. No PIN, no credit card.

If you had one of those, would that vwork? I also know that debit cards don't have the protections that credit cards have, so that's an issue.I didn't want to try. This is the week that all my bills come out of my checking account. I don't want to risk any kind of screw up.

Salvador was the only stop on our last trip that we needed to get some currency. The rest of the time we used credit cards or went without.I recall having the local currency in Copenhagen when we were there but I'm sure we also used credit cards.

We made peach cobbler in a slow cooker today. We have vanilla ice cream, as well.A very find near-the-end of our Monday.
Jane, you mentioned a week or so ago that you're waiting for the open enrollment season for Medicare. I meant to mention that if you move then you don't have to wait. I don't know how long that window is, though.

We were only in Tiburon for a year and never got around to doing this. We have a very good one in Ashland and a good one in our second Michigan house, the home before Tiburon. We had the Michigan guy twice a year. He would change out the screens and the storm windows depending on the season.
