Feeling any better tonight, dear father?

Actually, at the moment I am, son.  We had a great show tonight, a very responsive crowd, AND our very own DR George was in attendance.  We have now actually met face to face!!  Thank you. George, for driving up to see the show.

Unfortunately, as good as I feel at the moment, I am going to be in a lot of pain in the morning.

Although I can't really remember, I think Mr. Computer Man set my computer to do something at midnight on Fridays, because every Friday at midnight everything gets really slow and lethargic, like clockwork.

I actually haven't watched all that much TV this year. I've certainly hardly watched ANY since I moved. I'm sure something will come to mind later.
As for cake, my favorite is a cake my mother used to make called Pisinger Torta. (And before you start making pee jokes, all you silly non-Hungarians out there in the dark, it's pronounced: PISH-inger.)
I haven't thought of this yummy cake in years and I'm stunned I remember the name of it. Layers of thin wafer-like cake with the most delicious chocolate cream between the layers. I used to lick the bowl my mother made the cream in. Heaven! I don't know if I have the recipe - I've never made it.

I could be mistaken (it happened once before, many many years back), but I do believe we've got us a late-night denizen posting frenzy going on!

I don't think I've ever discussed my favorite cake, have I?  Parisienne Cake.  Have I ever discussed that?  I want cake.  Parisienne Cake is yellow cake with layers of very light chocolate, with chocolate flakes on top.

Good evening all!

Hello dear father...I do hope you feel better soon.  Many vibes being sent your way....

Had the second of four performances of the Messiah with the Seattle Symphony tonight.  My mother and sister came to watch.  My sister brought a book, my mother fell asleep.  Can't blame her, though...my mother has conducted and/or played the Messiah so many times...she gets a bit bored by it now.  But it was nice to see them there.

I am eating mashed potatoes, but now craving cookies, bagels and lox, and all manner of salads...

Let's freak everybody out - let's have three hundred posts by the time people check in in the morning.  If our nine GUESTS and one HIDDEN would only join in, we could each make approximately fifty posts.

I googled Pisinger Torta to see if there was a recipe somewhere - and I stumbled into an alternate universe... a Hungarian board somewhat like ours (I said "somewhat"). And there's someone posting named "Panna" - which is another nickname for Panni. And they're discussing food. Cue Rod Serling.
