Well, you've read the notes, the notes were notes rather than no notes, and now it is time for you to post until the no notes cows come home.

DR FJL that was a very apt piece of work.....  Sometimes what you write reminds me a bit of what they used to do on the old television show THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS that had some clever parodies on current topics....yours are usually funnier.....

DR TCB,  I have eaten at at couple of McMcMenamins but not The Spar.  I figure the seating is similar.   I could be wrong.

Wonderful notes today!

And again, re the notes, so glad they're back and on time.  You don't know what you miss from your routine until it's not there, or something like that.

I think the guy who handed Haley the trumpet in the first clip has a great future ahead of him in show biz. Next up handing Miss Mazeppa her trumpet in Gypsy in the next revival.

Maybe you want to consider as perk in the Indiegogo campaign a commission song by you. It can be a higher perk and limited to a few people or perhaps Richard M. Sherman can do a commission song perk (too)

Last night I slept poorly.  I was troubled - or harassed - by my 12th Night overture.  I had a long, rather frustrating dream about revising it, rewriting the violins at one spot, and I was quite happy to get out of bed.

I have no plans today, so I will continue the housecleaning.  I have another ladder and book day coming up, but I'm not sure that's on today's agenda.

I've been re-reading Sir Peter Hall's Diaries with much more appreciation than I had when I first read them.  Some things still irritate me, like his unkind remarks about the scores for A Little Night Music and Sweeney Todd while he chooses to direct Via Galactica, but I find the politics of dealing with friends/rivals, critics, actors, playwrights, etc. really interesting and continue to wonder at his stamina.  I've just ordered his autobiography.

In my humble (etc.), comparing something favorably to TW3 (remember "TW3"?) is a high compliment indeed.

I have a possible new 21st century pet peeve:

when a theater turns down your play for a festival, and then proceeds to put your email address on the mailing list trying to sell you a ticket to come to the festival, emails which tell you all about the fabulous plays they DID choose over your own!  :)
