I'm on my second doughnut (this one's the famous practically-appleless fritter) and second cup of coffee.

This saddens me.  As much as I hate to admit defeat, I am going to surrender Thatch to The Animal Project.  I just went to the bathroom to check on him and he escaped.  He's now back under the bookcase where he hid for a day, Annabelle's tracking him, and the hissing and screaming have begun.  This poor baby is never going to socialize, I cannot keep Annabelle away from him, and I sadly have no time to devote every minute to this mess.  Unless something really positive happens, he's leaving, and it breaks my heart to write this.

I know it's dropped to 78 F. I have to wear a sweater. :-)

Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co. and DR CHAS SMITH.

I also get tired just reading the notes!

I am going to check GOOGLE maps to see if there a street view of the dentist's office now on the Annette House site.

TOD:

A bit out of date....but the personal computer, flat screen TV, and MP3 player!!!!

All of them have improved my life in many ways, not the least of which is communication and convenience!

Got to run to rehearsal, but must post this:

DR Elmore, it saddens me (and I'm sure all of us), too.  I know how heartbreaking a decision that is.  But you've given it your all, and you are the only one who can make this call.  And with that said, I know you are doing the right thing for yourself, for Annabelle, and for Thatch.

Well, all I have to do is get him from under that book case and into a carrier.

I'm afraid at this point that all I'm doing at this point is damaging him.

I went on a bit of a walk today, through Costco to look at glasses; then the liquor store for some Thanksgiving wines; Half Price Books, where your most expensive item is 40% off today; and then to the library. There was pain, to be sure, but things were better when I stood up straight and just kept on walking.

I didn't find a great deal at Half Price. My most expensive item was a new copy of Lazarus, the David Bowie musical.

Have you spoken to anyone at the adoption place?  I would be curious what the foster home has to say.  He may have been very attached to his sister and should have been adopted as a pair.  It is one of the reasons we adopted Bogie & Bacall, along with the fact Craig wanted Bacall & I wanted Bogie.  Bryan was neutral & Keith was out of town.

just canceled my refill for tylenol with codeine. I'm sure I could have made money selling it, but ...

I don't even like to joke about that.

After my mother died I found a full syringe of morphine.  Not knowing what to do with it I hesitantly told my father since he could dispose of the syringe properly at work.  He sadly looked at it and said it was worth a fortune on the streets.

DR John did you cancel the script cuz it isn't working or because you don't want to keep taking codeine?   I would like to think you simply don't need it anymore and are out of pain.

A Swan Goose married a Greylag Goose and had babies.  Five of the adult offspring have been hanging out on the lawn behind our back patio.

They are now classified as Domesticated Greylag Geese.  They look like the single goose in this photo that is in front of the two white geese.
