Like a good parent, I'm keeping my children stoned.  I put this in their food tonight.
Hey, is there a people version of that?

Starting to watch another Basil  Deardon film. This one, Victim, features Dirk Bogarde as a gay barrister who takes on a blackmailer. Taut and engrossing.

Those Deardon/Bogarde/etc. films are wonderful.  I hadn't known them, and discovered them just several years ago.  Incredible stuff.

Okay, here's Jack Viertel and "Red" Press (and ?).  I'd love to get a good picture of Red, but it never quite works out.

That's Peter Lawrence, the stage manager.

I know people who have tried Rescue Remedy for dogs that are afraid of thunder and fireworks.  Some have found it helpful, others not.

Good luck it helps.

I have a story to write. I'd much rather watch movies.

It sounds like peace is coming to the Moore household, albeit a bit slowly, but coming just the same.

I've been reading Bruce's moving tales with interest. Local moves allow so much more flexibility!

When I moved from Santa Monica to San Diego County many years ago, I had really lousy movers. My furniture was going into storage, as I'd be staying with a friend for a few months. I'd carefully set aside the things I'd take with me in the car and told the movers not to pack anything from my bedroom closet. I arrived at my friend's house, unpacked my car, only to learn that the idiot movers had, of course, packed what I'd told them NOT to and I now had only the tennis shoes I was wearing. All my business shoes had gone to storage. Fortunately, this was a Sunday and I was able to go to the local shopping mall and purchase a pair of shoes suitable for the office. I learned that if you don't want them to pack something, then don't even let them see it.

I'm very glad to hear that you're feeling better, John G. Can you say what made the difference? Was it the tough love from Doctor #1?

Time? I don't know. But there is still occasional pain, though nothing like it was on Monday.
