No more wire lulls, EVER.

Moving on to The Turning Point.  And kreplach, we mustn't forget kreplach.  Speaking of kreplach, where in tarnation IS everyone?  You'd think it was a Saturday night.

Okay, as long as it's an official lull . . .

Anything ever come of that "Goodbye Mr. Chips" long-lost rejected-song-demo-LP-set?  Last I heard you were waiting for a CD transfer to be made.

Jane...duh, me...physical therapy, of course.  She's not yet other than her chiroprator yanking her this way and that.  She can tell you more about it all if she comes on.

I'll have to remind that guy again - I got one package from him, but I guess he hadn't had time to do it before mailing it, and maybe he's forgotten.  I've polished off tomorrow's notes and can now relax until midnight.  Now, let's get some postin' goin' on, shall we?

My friend just dropped off some of her faboo potato salad.  I've already eaten a ton of pasta, and a couple of candy bars.  Dare I eat a little of this tonight, or do I show strength and wait until tomorrow?

I cannot get into The Turning Point this evening.  It's just too Herb Ross for me.  He really wasn't a very good director and I find all his films ugly to look at.  And the script by Arthur Laurents is a bit too arch for my tastes.

Good Evening!

We're in the midst of another bout of "wintry mix".  Snow, sleet, ice... It was actually a little slippery here and there driving home tonight.  But I'm safe and sound.

I still have to read all of yesterday's posts, but I did read today's posts.

And now I'm going to get ready for bed.  This was a long day for me, and tomorrow will be another long one.

However, tomorrow is also my Dad's birthday, and we'll be having a birthday lunch at his favorite Chinese restaurant.  -We'll see what the roads are like in the morning.

DR Matthew - I saw MARTIN GUERRE in DC at the Kennedy Center.  Eh...  My friend, Erin Dilly, was playing Bertrande; Hugh Panaro, with whom I would get to work with later, and Stephen Buntrock were the two male leads.  -Oh, and Erin and Stephen got married last year!  Handsome couple as they say.

I just had to wonder how much a difference casting someone other than Jose Llana as Guillaume would have made.  Imho, he was soooo miscast.  And that wig of his was horrible!  -And I don't like my villains to have a lisp.  ;)

But I did love what's-his-name as the town "clown".  Great performance.... Oh, Michael Arnold.

BK - "kishka" - that was what we had a Jerry's!

-And if I remember correctly, it was actually pretty good.  However, the chopped salad you ordered that night was missing some of it's "chops".

Yes, I remember that awful chopped salad.  I do love me some kishka every now and then.  I would love me some potato salad right this minute, but I'm trying to be strong.

OK, folks...I'm fading fast... And I also want to get up early enough to do my workout - especially since I had dessert tonight as well as some cookies when I got home - and I want to bake a cake for my father in the morning too!  We shall see..

Goodnight.

And a happy birthday to Jose's dad.

Aw, thanks...  I'm sure he'd be glad to sing you a karaoke song for you in return!  ;)

I've still managed to refrain from diving into the potato salad.  You have no idea how difficult that is.
