The bidding wars were sometimes phony, where the seller would up bids himself from a different account.

Happy 1st anniversary to DR elmore and Annabelle.

Where is her new favorite hideout?

On the floor in a cubby hole of storage boxes.

Went to Gelson's for today's food.  Then I came home and made today's food - a perfect Keto meal: sauteed chicken breast cut up in pieces, onions, mushrooms, over zucchini noodles.  I had no idea they packaged those now but I really enjoyed the meal and it was quite filling.

If I'm hungry later, I have another breast, more zucchini noodles, etc.  Or I could make scrambled eggs.

Listening to a beautiful opera by Erich Wolfgang Korngold - Das Wonder der Heliane.  It has deliriously gorgeous Korngold melodies, and the scoring is like listening to a film score with singing.  John Mauceri is the conductor and does a wonderful job.

This has become my favorite photo of Brett Kavanaugh.

Elmore, it's so weird; on CNN, they played the actual Senate hearing moments and the Matt Damon SNL spoof when the Judge questions the questioner, and the real-life somehow seems more outrageous than the spoof.

Are these pasta flavored with zucchini, or the vegetable cut up into a noodle-like shape?

Confused by Alex Moffat playing  Chuck Grassley, that's very flattering casting for Grassley.

The Monsignor has taken his last bow....the audience was most enthusiastic, and everyone did a great job.

We said our goodbyes....and there were some nice sentiments expressed by the kids to me....most of which were sincere.

My dresser indeed was there for ALL the changes and READY....it was a miracle!

The audience was fantastic and ate up the songs, the jokes, the costumes, and the scenery...the orchestra rocked.  I am so happy to have been a part of it.  I love being in a hit!

And so ends my theatre activity for 2018....with the exception of a board meeting or two.

It started way back in April....and many things have happened since then....but I can now start my new life....alone in my home.....with Birdy Barnum...and see how it goes.

I am glad you have some company, and you do have your family close by.  Vibes while you settle in to the changes.  I expect there will be many difficult moments.

"most of which were sincere" - Wasn't it someone on HHW who said "The secret of success is sincerity. Once you can fake that you've got it made."

Zucchini noodles are zucchini spiraled to look like noodles.  I sautéed them in butter.

We ended up with a 2018 with 14,000 miles...at $14,000 below the cost of a 2018 off the showroom floor

Jane, I'm quite sure I haven't gained a pound and I'm really thinking, joking aside, that I may have lost a couple.  But these people who brag on Facebook that in a week-and-a-half they've lost eight or twelve pounds - I just don't believe a word they're saying.

After my mini-rant about not being able to sell anything on eBay, the last of my test items was about to close tomorrow morning and sold just now.
