The show was directed by a good friend who was the first artistic director at Lakewood Playhouse about 25 years ago.

I bet if people knew they were trying to make a demo too send around and be heard by theater pros, everyone would have tried their best to be there.

Or am I thinking NY instead of Washington?

At least a couple of people weren't there because they were sick, and a couple others had jobs that they couldn't get out of. We were told that they're going to have another recording session with those people and drop them into our recordings, so they'll get to be on it.

They'd better! They supposedly videorecorded the show, and we were supposed to have had a get-together to watch it, but that hasn't happened yet.
