I thought it was a roast chicken covered in paprika :-)

I came across a tour of Montreal that is of Jewish restaurants. None looked like my idea of a Jewish Deli.

All this talk of Lethal White I checked out Career of Evil so I can catch up with the books. I noticed after the second book I wrote myself a note to stop reading these. If I don't get right into this book I think I will put it down.

I liked the photos of the set that DR GEORGE posted yesterday. I am also going to see if my local Dollar Tree has a pointer like that....it is most amusing.

The Paramount Theatre in Seattle is where Frances Farmer worked as an usher during her days as a student in Washington U. A few years later at the premiere of COME AND GET IT at the same theatre, she was offered the key to the city by the mayor's wife. Frances told her in no uncertain terms where she could put the key to the city.....

Today in the mail I received:

A letter telling me that the homestead deduction on my property will need to be applied for again since the death of my mother.....I called and will take the documents to the county seat next week or so.

A letter from the office across the hall from THAT office addressed to my mother telling her that she is in the Jury Pool for 2019. Obviously the news of her passing hasn't made it across the hall yet.

A letter from my Nurse Practioner telling me that he is moving his practice 20 minutes away to Greenwood.....although I have never made it there in less than 40 minutes....he moves November 26.

And my cable bill.....

After finally resolving the missing Kritzerland performer last week and getting her all the material, she e-mails today and says she's sick and has found us a replacement. But the replacement can't come to today's rehearsal. I'm ready to cancel the show, which we've never done in our history, but this one is not our usual show and there are group numbers and duets. Not sure how I want to deal with this and no one has assured me that she can learn all this by heart by show time.

Sorry I don't really know anything about this. I live way West of downtown and almost never go there. There is so much roadwork. And they keep closing the way to downtown every weekend. But it sounds interesting.
