My son, David, and his lady are joining us for lunch on Sunday.

it's nice having him 30-40 minutes away from us, as opposed to his being in Los Angels and our being in Austin.

I wish our children were not so far away.  Thank goodness for video chatting.

What was the best staged part DR CHAS SMITH?

That's a good question, DR Jrand68. I hadn't seen a production in a long time and I don't know how much the staging generally varies, if it varies much at all. I think this one follows the general look of the 2006 revival (there's a full video on YouTube). That having been said, while all of our lead characters were well chosen and each vignette is fascinating, I am most blown away by the tight ensemble dancing. Again, not having seen it in forever, I might end up saying the same thing about other productions. I guess I'm just a sucker for the concept.

The orchestra is in a tiny black box theater on another floor. Brass and reeds and five pit singers (the cut dancers) are on the audience risers, the MD is at the left, I'm on the stage with the drums and percussion and the bass player.

So, Chester (my dog) and I drove up to the Redbox at Walgreen's and rented THE MULE for tonight.

Friday morning greetings!  Busy weekend ahead.  I'm selling books from 1-3pm today and tomorrow.  Mary Linda's parents are coming from Michigan tonight to help with painting at the kids' new house.  On Sunday, Fr. Richard and I are going to Lima for him to provide a Palm Sunday eucharist to his former parishioners.

From DR John:

As an actor, Fosse should also be mentioned for My Sister Eileen. He has a great dance with Tommy Rall in that one:

Elmore, I wish Leonard liked me half as much as Annabelle loves you. He has nothing to do with me.

Never forget all the problems I had with Thatch! I thought he and I would never have any sort of a relationship, and I figured, okay, I adopted him for Annabelle and I can live with that.  You were the one who told me to hang on, and that's now my advice for you. He's got his own baggage of what he left behind to sort through first.

I think every 1040 that's not done is on extension.

People are noticing only the smaller refunds.  That their total tax in the same income is much lower for 2018 than 2017 needs too be pointed out, but it always has been lower in 2018 so far.  But it's a small sample.

Back from a fun lunch meeting and picking up a couple of packages.  Other than that, I understand it's Friday the 12th but it may as well be the 13th as this is the day from HELL.
