At long last page five.  Ta da.

I like the idea of using a tool for a different purpose other than its intended one.  I'd better stop right there.

Okay, I'm working on the March 19 list:
Penny O, Star and Diva
Bruce Kimmel, our charming host and raconteur
Jose
Me
Ginny
Danise
Ben and Anthony
Rodzinski and Gal
Vixmom
W F  Orr
Panni

Am I missing anyone?  I've got 13 here, so I will call Joe Allen's tomorrow and inquire about a reservation for 15 on the 19th of March at 10:30 pm  If they turn me down, I'll make the same inquiry at Barrymore's and J R's.

Dear Friend BK, I'll be happy to meet you later on Friday after your reading.  I'm really bummed about missing the songs.

Today's priceless quote from the local news department:  "Well he's a teacher, he shouldn't be licking people."  I'll let you relentless Googlers try to find the story.  :)

That's a very Thurber-esque quote, isn't it?

I think both Vixmom and WF Orr are bringin their respective spouses, am I correct Vix and Orr?

BTW (by the way in Internet lingo), I just heard a great drag name via Anthony. You (meaning any one of you) may have heard it before but I had not. Helena Hanbasket. Made me laugh.

Is this a slow newsday here at haineshisway.com?

Is everyone taking a siesta.

We should be having a fiesta not a siesta.

Well, that would make a total of 15!  Maybe I should tell them 20?

I always preferred Helen Highwater myself.

Ohmigawsh!  The "E" reenactment of court proceedings on Monday revealed that the brother of the plaintiff said he witnessed Michael Jackson licking his brother's (the plaintiff's) hair during a plane trip they all took.

I thought....THIS is what someone who is anally GERMophobic would do?  LICK a kid's grungy hair?

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I don't think I wanna know about the teacher....

elmore, will Joe Allen even take that kind of reservation?  If not, we could try to get the upstairs room at Angus McIndoe - try to talk to Angus directly and be sure to use my name, if that's the route we go.

Well, I thought I'd call them.  all they can do is tell me no, and then I'll call Angus, once I figure out where it is and who he is!  I like JR's, and maybe Barrymore's will give us the space?

Good Evening!

Still have to catch up on the past few days of posts and notes... Hopefully, tomorrow.

Been a long day of auditions.   And after last week in Greensboro and the past three days here in NYC, I think I've had enough auditions for now.

Onto THIGHS!

;)

Matt H, when the LAWMAN was on Peter Brown visited our elementary school & talked to the kids.  I have no idea why but I remember how happy it made me.  :D

George didn’t I post that “morning breath” photo a year ago? ;D

My favorite close-harmony group is Forever Plaid. I also like The Four Aces.

Today, the Jewish Student Union was having some kind of shindig on the lawn over the library today, complete with a petting zoo of animals you'd find on an Israeli kibbutz. Goats, sheep, ducks, a donkey, and a llama. Are there a lot of llamas in Israel?

Must go.  It has been a super busy non-stop day.  I have two more days like this lined up but will try to stop in and say high.

Goodnight.

I found something about exporting Llamas from the US to Israel.

Sorry I'm out of time and can't continue researching this.

No problems with the men chosen for AMERICAN IDOL finals. In fact, they matched my wish list exactly.

As for the women, well, one of them would not have been my choice, but I feel she won't last long up against the talent on display.

Looking forward finally to the sing-offs.

The Goodlife Channel has several old shows I'd love to see again, and I ALWAYS forget to check out its listings when I'm surfing.

Thanks for the info, DR MBarnum.

Wish I could have been a part of that audience, DR Jane!

Yes, DEADWOOD was a good episode. I really find so many of the characters SO interesting, so complex. It's really a well done melodrama if you can get past the swearing (which I have no trouble doing).

ALIAS had me going tonight. I thought, wow, they're angling Sloane to be doing the double agent thing again. Then, it turned out to be something else where he seemed loyal, and then by the end of the episode, amazingly the writers have two agents doing covert operations. (And that doesn't even take into account Vaughn's storyline tonight.)

One thing about ALIAS. It never coasts on a safe wave. It's ALWAYS stirring the mix and keeping the audience off balance.

Interesting American Idol tonight.

There was only one person who I was sad to see go.

I won't spoil it. But don't read the commen below if you haven't see the show yet (and are planning to).

Very interesting, how they decided to call out the people who made it to the top 12, rather than their usual harsh way of singling out the losers. I thought this was much more compassionate.

Beep beep, beep beep, his horn went beep beep beep

I had that 45 as a child, on Roulette if I remember correctly.

Had a lovely luncheon with Rodzinski, a very bright, very nice chap.
Roulette indeed BK.  The wonders of Hugo & Luigi's label.
All those early Jimmie Rodgers tracks were on Roulette too.
