Happy Birthday Keith!
We used this Zoom contraption for our work session and it worked just fine but it's not much different than Skype in terms of one-on-ones.
I got an email from my British conductor friend. He and his family live in France, and he wrote this:The children are doing virtual lessons every day. The new term started yesterday here in France. We have been locked down for another month with no real freedom to move other than a kilometre from our house except to shop. Even then we have to apply online for a pass and have to be back within an hour. The police are out heavily and checking.
I always loved Hal Linden’s stories about what a giving performer Judy Holliday was. He tried singing Just in Time where the audience could see her, because she was the star, and she manipulated him to where he was facing the audience so they could hear him better.
Then on to the big stop o' the day, Shop Rite, where I'd intended to pick up maybe 14 or 15 items and came away with twice that many. For the most part, I wasn't there for anything too hard to find, but I did find that a few of my regular items have gone up in price. The most alarming, though, was eggs, which we didn't need today, but get this: we normally buy the store brand 18-pack for $1.99 or maybe a little more now and then. That pack today? $7.99!
So, SW Ohio is experiencing some gusty winds today and Richard discovered that our porch furniture blew over (not away) and the glass table top shattered into a million pieces. Photo evidence on Facebook.
That was a nice photo of Nicky, DR TCB.
I found a 1972 production of Mrs. Warren's Profession with Coral Browne and an amazingly young Penelope Wilton. She looks nothing like she did in Downton Abbey, but the same fire is there.
Happy Birthday to DH (and friend) Keith!
Why, yes. Quarantine Coffee.
We have a county in Washington that has announced that the governor has no right to tell people to stay home, and they are going to reopen everything this week.
And the sheriff of the county said that he agrees with the county fathers and will not do anything to stop them, because the governor’s rules are unconstitutional!

My friend Tracy had to have her doggie put to sleep yesterday.
