I.E.

Well, you've read the notes, i.e. you're done with the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home, i.e. until they get here, the silly cows.

Welcome five GUESTS!  We're talkin' about anything we feel like it, for example, Jessica Skerritt.

AVUNCULAR!

I hope that hasn't already been a word of the day.

Farrelly Brothers, well... I'll admit to enjoying DUMB AND DUMBER because I liked the weird interplay between Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey, I have generally been disappointed by their work since. Kind of an everything AND the kitchen sink mentality. The low comedy has become a formulaic thing where they have painted themselves into a corner. And their intrusive music use is definitely problematic. Well stated in the notes. The one about the conjoined twins was not too bad though. But people say their films have "heart" when what is really true is they add mawkish sentimentality to balance their grosser natures, and it rarely comes off as sincere, coherent filmmaking.

It's Saturday night - that's the time for partying and dancing the Lambada, and staying up late.  But apparently not so for the WUSSBURGERS of the WORLD.

Odd photo in my old hometown paper today... Not making light, but, well, it's just odd that's all.

Come to think of it, Benjamin Kritzer got to hang out with the Weinermobile for a bit in KRITZERLAND.

Yes, he did.

What are your favorite Oscar Mayer products?  In days of yore, the only product I ate was bologna, because my mother made  me sandwiches filled with that specious meat.  I don't eat bologna anymore.  I think I've also had their liverwurst.

Farrelly Bros.  I liked Something About Mary...that may be all I've ever seen of theirs.

I like the Cohen Bros.

The Smith Bros. make a mean cough drop...or used to...are they still around...

The Corsican Bros.  were a great double act.

Warner Bros. made great movies...

...so did the Marx Bros.

But what was wrong with that Karl Marx brother?...he wasn't very funny.

I guess my folks were Oscar Mayer true believers, because those are the kind of hot dogs we were subjected to, which I've since come to find out are not nearly the most flavorful. The bologna was a staple. I still don't mind it. Though I don't really eat it anymore, it got me through college. Then the other thing was braunschweiger, which I will still buy a tube of, maybe once a year. Braunschweiger is something you have to get hooked on when you are little, because you'd never willingly try that as an adult.

I feel like some cherce bacon and eggs, or eggs benedict, or an omelet loaded with cheese and bacon and scallions.

AVUNCULAR. Could have had it. 60% of my brain says yes, we've had it. But is there a rule against a repeat?

A challenge: How many movies can we name, in say the next 10 minutes, that have the word BIG in the title. Using only god-given brainpower.

Well, just in case, we'll change the word of the day to: FUSSBUDGET!

I like that better anyway.

So, out with the AVUNCULAR and in with the FUSSBUDGET!

And Jessica Skerritt.

Well, I am starting to fade, so I do believe I shall now toddle in to the bedroom environment for my beauty sleep.  I would like to have the dream I had two nights ago, please.

BUTT - before I go, might I just say - FUSSBUDGET!

Good Morning!

I was pretty tired about two hours ago.

And I was really tired about an hour ago.

And now I'm draggin'-my-ass tired, so...

Just because you can, doesn't mean you have to.  -Stay up late in this/my case.  Ah, well...
