Listening to the delightful children's opera, Brundibar - this is in English, a version by Tony Kushner. I'd like to hear it in its original language. It's only about a half-hour in length, but Hans Krasa's music is very sweet and catchy. The conductor is Gerard Schwarz, but the cast, who has to deliver a lot of rhymed couplets as well as singing - they're okay in the singing stuff, but the talking part is pretty amateur. I'll see what else is available. Then at some point I'll move onto Saint-Saens' Samson and Delila.
