My New Years resolution is to eat only enough to function. So far I haven't succeeded. I will though. I will just slowly reduce my food intake.

DR Jane yes I was able to get the trunk open. The only reason I kept trying was because the trunk light showed as being open on the dash. And I didn't want to take a chance that it would open while I was driving.

I wondered why you tried so hard. I am glad you are on the mend and hope you don't have anymore problems with your trunk.

One of my uncles dated one of the McGuire sisters in high school. In the mid-1950s the McGuires were constantly tossed at us Wilson Elementary School students by our principal, George Crout, as examples of what perfect young Middletonians should aspire to. Then Phyllis got mixed up with the mafia, and that was the end of that.
