Monday afternoon greetings!  Another sorting and shredding day.  I unearthed my initial Miami University appointment letter, dated 50 years ago TODAY.

Cue the “Twilight Zone” theme…

You should frame that!

My crazy wonderful neighbor Judy, who will take care of the cats while I'm out pf commission, brought me a mushroom knish and Dr Brown Black Cherry soda. We bitched about the mess in the hall. She called the fire dept. to complain.

I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of sleep. Woke up at ten-thirty. Feeling a bit more rested, have answered e-mails and now will futz and finesse then write new pages after sending Muse Margaret some pages.

The few I like least:

Swan Esther, a weird musical of the biblical book of Esther
Superhero (although Kate Baldwin is nice)
Goya
Something for the Boys (PS Classics)
Kiss Me, Kate (McGlinn version)
42nd Street (Yap)

Monday afternoon greetings!  Another sorting and shredding day.  I unearthed my initial Miami University appointment letter, dated 50 years ago TODAY.

Cue the “Twilight Zone” theme…

You should frame that!

It’s going into a scrapbook I’m working on that covers my life, birth to age 30 (when Richard and I were married).  It’s titled “Who Were YOU?” because that’s what one of your high school classmates asked me at the 40th reunion.

It is truly hard to believe it's the last day of July.

I know, right?? :o

Except for the autocorrect!  Should read “Who Were YOU?”  Fixed my earlier post.

I like the McGlinn Kiss Me Kate more than the TER recording; although the TER has the wonderful Diana Montague, whom I prefer over McGlinn's singer, it uses the published vocal score's laundered lyrics because the TER producere does shitty research.
