With no Charley's Aunt rehearsal on Thursday, Ann and I will be making a trip up to Seattle to see the pre-Broadway production of Princesses, starring the WSMA, Brent Barrett.

In the more immediate future, we're thrilled to have Boston Legal coming back to the ABC lineup tonight.  Funny, funny show, IMHO.  First network offering to interest us in the slightest since May's season finales.

You might want to check out the song demos for Princesses, DR JED

I am interested in knowing what you think of the show.  From the synopsis it sounds like a good one to see with the Vixter

Jason, I see you know about Emack and Bolio's ice cream. OMG, it is amazing stuff. I love it. I could live on it but then I would be the size of a house!!! It's dangerously close to us at 14th and 7th Avenue, right down the block from a guilty pleasure, the Papaya King Hot Dog Stand.

Yes, it was. We spent a quiet day and evening. Anthony just got back from the doctor so I shall now hear about his foot and his slow climb back to pedal health.

Biug disappointment today. One of the shows I forget to have recorded was last Friday's MONK ("Mr. Monk Gets Drunk" was the episode title). I noticed last night that USA was rerunning the show during the early morning hours, so I set the DVR to record it. Instead of it, I got an episode from last season, "Mr. Monk and the Election." Was this the episode that USA showed last week (a rerun) or did USA decide to rerun this older episode last night instead of showing the one from last Friday night? HELP!

I still have a SMALLVILLE from last week I want to watch, and then I can tackle some movies I recorded last week: THE FORGOTTEN, TONY ROME, and poor old 21 GRAMS that's been sitting on the hard drive for almost a month.

Have you been hanging out with Ozderek and Tomovoz?

I've been "down under", of course!

Yes, Ben...I have an Emack & Bolio's about three blocks from my apartment in Queens. It's evil, evil stuff and I love it so!!

I still can't believe you're reading my blog - I don't know why, but it just boggles the brain.

Also managed to get to Sunday's episode of THE COMEBACK with another funny, exasperating encounter with Lisa Kudrow's Valerie Cherish. Again, the show has really grown on me since the opening episode. I hope HBO gives it another season of shows to develop the character even more.

Thanks for the Vibe vibes to all who sent them.  The transaction went smoothly and my drive to work was uneventful after I figured out why the "open door" light was on (the rear window was open).  I can hardly wait to go out for my dinner hour soon to play with my new toy some more!

Back from lunch.

Grilled salmon, rice and a wonderful green salad with bleu cheese dressing.

Nice weather here today.  Glorious walk to the deli.

Headache has subsided...hopefully for good.

Thanks for the vibes, vixmom.

I could loan you my "auf wienerschnitzel, darlings", but you may find it a tad clunky.

Yes, DR Ron Pulliam, but it's the first day of my work week.  I alternate Tues-Sat and Mon-Fri weeks, which means that I alternate 3-day and 1-day weekends.  Usually by Thursday and Friday before my long weekends, I'm pretty wiped out.

You poor thing.  Today is YOUR Monday!!!

You probably don't want to know, then, that I'm taking Friday off and have only two more workdays this week.

So, now, let's see.  When it's "Friday" for you, it will only be "Wednesday" for me.  Sort of like one of DH Richard's college algebra problems.

But that's not the topic in question, so I'll Norbert Leo Butz out.  ;D

DR Ron Pulliam....

My brother and I may be exceedingly similar, but we are still two different people.   ;) (almost a Frank Loesser reference...)

Sure - during my dinner hour, I will try to download some look-alikes from the Pontiac website and post them.

How glad was The Vixter to see all the back-to-school ads in Sunday's paper?
