Today was Dental Visit #4 from last month’s dental emergency. The new crowns and onlay have been installed and I am done! Poorer, too. Very glad it’s over. It was more involved than I expected, but it’s done.

Great news about it all being done, Jeanne!

Not great news about being poorer, though.

I didn’t even stop at the bakery afterwards, but I did stop at Dollar-and-a-Quarter Tree, which was quite crowded. Best to avoid it just before Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I have two very slow drains. Why pay $6 when you can pay $1.25? (For Liquid Plumber)

My friend Margo has a plugged drain in her bathroom, and with her knee surgery, it really should be dealt with.  I'll suggest it.

Was the bakery crowded or were you too drained after the dental work?  Congrats on being done.

I doubt that it was crowded. I was just worn out.

While I am not surprised, I am sorry that was the reason.

As you approach it doesn't look at all like a freeway entrance, plus after going under the old stone bridge it curves to the right making it a bit difficult to know for sure where you are going the first time you drive it.

As we passed that entrance on our way home from the gym today we saw a BIG truck stuck under the bridge.  As we passed the street from the entrance side we turned to see what it looked like down there. (There is a business parking lot we could go through without getting in the way). Lots of police cars and a big mess.

I wish we could have taken a photo.

Yikes Hopefully, trucks getting stuck doesn't happen very often!

Fortunately we haven't seen it happen there.

My sister and her daughter also have to use Drāno for their shower drains.  I'll suggest it to them, too!

The first time I drove under the bridge, even having been under it numerous times with Keith, I went slowly.  It really doesn't feel or look like a freeway entrance until after you go under the bridge and begin the curve.

And now, my mom wants me to come over and help her with her computer.  Her cat Henry sat on her keyboard, and now the screen has turned sideways!

I have no idea what the driver was thinking.

Tuesday evening greetings!  We survived Moving Day #2 and are now surrounded by boxes.  The crew also helped us drag a lot of junk out of the basement.  One wanted the old pinball machine that we’d inherited from previous owners and another took a pile of scrap wood that had lived under the package wrapping table.

While responding to DR Jeanne I was interupted and decided to use a quote before commenting.

DR Ginny did you put your house up for sale or decide to wait until after you move?  I believe you had intended to put it up but then you have been very busy.

I had already eaten more food today than my stomach can tolerate before I discovered Keith is popping corn.  Sigh, I will just have to go with the flow and indulge

If I really only ate the amount of food that is comfortable I would weigh about 100 pounds.

Here in almost Canada, the mother in law has been having high blood pressure issues so we had ambulance pick her up from her care home and take her to the hospital. They seemed to get it under control, so I drove to real Canada to pick her up and take her back home. Crisis averted for now.
