Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Well...  Since I took some pictures over the weekend...

Here's the proof that I was really up at Williamstown the past three weeks.  Unfortunately, it's also the "proof" of my daily visits to Lickety Split for ice cream.   But it was soooo worth it.

Here is the front of the new mainstage facility.  Under one roof you can find the Nikos Stage (small theatre), the Mainstage (big theatre), the Center Stage (the black box), four large rehearsal studios, a costume shop, a scene shop, classrooms, offices, etc.  Quite a lovely space.  And it's called the '62 Center since it was built with funds from the Class of 1962 of Williams College.  It was completed within the past couple of months, and this was the first summer that the Williamstown Theatre Festival was using it too.

To the left of the picture above is the Nikos Stage - which is below.  For those who have been up to Williamstown in past seasons, look closely.  The brick structure is what remains of the Adams Memorial Auditorium which was the home for many years to WTF productions.  When the '62 Center was constructed, they dismantled the front of Adams, and then built a new facade as part of the '62 Center which allows a central box office as well as restroom facilities all under one roof.

One of the other mainstays of Williamstown is Papa Charlie's Deli...

Once you step into Papa Charlie's you see the menu boards to your right.  All - well, almost all - the sandwiches are named after actors and actresses who have frequented WTF - and, consequently, Papa Charlie's.

What... Or "Who" would you like today?

Where else can you eat Olympia Dukakis on Pita?  Or Scott Wolf on Seven Grain?

Here is a photo of the set for Triangle.

When I first saw the set model, I remarked, "Oh, I didn't know we were doing A Beautiful Mind, The Musical?

I was hoping to show this to DRs Rodzinksi and TPunk to see if they knew what it was.  Unfortunately, it was either sold, stolen or no longer on display outside the gallery when they were up over the weekend.

Any ideas?
