Got a lovely sparkling prize for one of the past HHW Trivia contests, the Christiane Noll "A Broadway Love Story" CD." Thanks so much, BK - I'm a big fan of hers.  Since it's media check day, I'm putting this one into the CD changer right now.

In case anyone cares which CD I took out to put the Christiane Noll CD in, I took out the Celine Dion CD.

For a page 8 dance, I'm dancing with one of our dogs to Ms. Noll's rendition of "Times Like This" from LUCKY STIFF.

Correction:

Always loved Mr Sondheim's use of "Crying and Biers".

From the other day,  I've won a few prizes over the years.  Nothing big.

A watch in drawing.  A doll at a ring toss at a local fair.  Some scratch off tickets with the lottery but nothing more then twenty dollars.  Many "tickets".

And the "other" websites.  You mean there ARE other places on the net?  ;)

I have very little time for the net like I used to and  I used to post on BWW almost every day.  Not so much now.   Mostly when I have a PM but it is very rare to see me on the board.

I like the Google Earth I told you all about the other night.  BK, do you have the exact address of the theater?  I want to see what's around there.

On line banking, ebay, amazon, deepdvddiscount, are a few others.  I use Expedia to book my trips.  Those are about all that come to mind.

Wasn't there actually a commercial many years back where they sang "Buy beer, Mister Shane."  I think it was for Shasta root beer.

Don't get me started on how I tease my friend, Jerry, who works at Bush about what beer REALLY is made from.  Let's just say they don't have horses as mascots for nothing.   ;) :D

Google earth is fun - especially when you can see your own roof! I guess it is easier to locate specifics when you don't live in the suburbs.

I thought that they  used the hops from Kangaroos to make beer.

Miss Tammy Minoff and I had a lovely lunch featuring the cuisine of Mexico.  She was wearing a tiny little skirt, and as we went into the restaurant a man ogled her and said "nice skirt."  The subtext was "nice skirt and can I go out with you tonight."

Don't you hate it when other men steal your moves?  ;D

You can't see mine.  The tree in the front yard covers it.

Good Evening!

Well, I ended up getting a free ticket to see The Wild Women of Planet Wongo after all!

The show was lots of fun, and I knew a few people in the show as well as in the pit.  They were having some technical issues, but that's understandable considering the schedule they run on during the NYMF.  Each show gets a whopping 30 minutes to load in - and just about only six hours of tech time.  So... In any case...

The show is based on the B-movie, "Wild Women of Wongo".  Very campy.  I like the show, although I think the 4:30pm time slot worked against the performance - there was a general sense of "after work" and "nap time" in the audience - admittedly, myself included.  But the cast really was giving it their all.  And for a show put together on a shoe-string, the costuming was very well done, and the small pit band was top-notch.

And for more info on the show, CLICK HERE
*The pics on the site are from an earlier production of the show.

May I ask you all to send your most comforting thoughts to Derek's family in 25 hours time as they at last have their own chance to say goodbye to a truly lovely man.

Real beautiful horses, matter of fact! I saw them "live" at "your" B. Gardens, and you all had to know that... as Tom would say!(Hops or hoops??)

And after the show, I headed back down to Village.  Back down to Magnolia.  Because I realized that I had left my credit card there last night. Ugh!  Ah, well... At least I had a good "excuse" to bring home a slice of their coconut cake.

This is confusing; we talk about horses, kangaroos, dogs dancing to Noll singing and now a rabbitt! Life's a zoo! :D
