Hope to hear from DR Ron Pulliam today.
How very sweet!
My colonoscopy went well. The Surgical Center was very busy, and I probably had a 40-minute wait until an OR was available for my procedure. The staff were extremely engaging and accommodating, and I was out of there by 9:20 a.m. (reported at 6:30 a.m.). Seven polyps were removed !!! Still, I was told I don't need another procedure for three years.
For the entire day, I was groggy from the anesthesia they had administered. That did NOT stop me from driving up the street to get food at lunch time. Meat loaf, green beans and squash casserole. I devoured it after having had three days of near-famine.
Yes, that's an exaggeration. But I had not been allowed veggies or red meat, so the lunch was almost inhaled.
The rest of the day is a blur. I napped, I watched TV, and for the life of me, I couldn't get too interested in anyhthing beyond a few minutes (a least in the arly afternoon).
I started watching a Peter Bodganovich film called "The Cat's Meow". An interesting premise with a sterling cast, some of whom were miscast, IMO, but I found I could not sustain interest beyond about 40 minutes.
