This week's resolution as to who the kidnapper and kidnapping victim were seemed really interesting and well-acted (especially since some weeks, the show's formula can get a little TOO reliable - but that may be part of why I enjoy the show). I thought the writing, and performance by the actress playing the kidnapping victim, was particularly good in those scenes. Is that episode 12? Last one we watched was episode 11.This is season 2 episode 12.

I just treated myself to a loaded potato pancake at Juniors
Applegate is the guy whose treasure gets stolen in the book The Tower Treasure, that I’m reading now. No good dubloons or pieces of eight. Just some jewelry and securities. Old man Applegate is such an a-hole that one wishes his treasure was never found.
One fun thing is in tracking down a wig worn by a thief, the boys father flies with them to NY, and they go meet an actor in his dressing room to inquire about the wig. Then they stay and take in the Broadway show, which I thought was a nice touch.
Interesting article Editor RODZINSKI - but I'm sure it will not be as interesting or as popular as one that will appear in the April issue.I think we'll probably get the Pulitzer.

My fourth grade teacher didn’t like mysteries, so she forbade us to read them during our free period. She couldn’t stop us from bringing them into the classroom, because we could read them on the bus. But she would have, if she could.
DR JANE so glad you like your new doctor!Yes - I liked the video too. I may go back and watch it again. I knew that Don Grady was a Mouseketeer on the blue team - but I had never seen him dance. He was very good, too.
I loved that in Oregon you are not permitted to pump your own gas. Now that we only have one car I have never needed to pump gas since we moved here. I hope that never changes.
Waiting for Operation Mincemeat to start
I was hooked on The Happy Hollisters series, but I don't recall any details about them. Also Encyclopedia Brown.
FOUR!
Well, I'm sick. Of the last hour, I would estimate I spend 49 minutes of it in the bathroom. God, I hate this.

Got the car back and thankfully it had stopped raining just prior to me walking back there. Turns out, it's the sensors or something in the front seat belts that triggered this. It's safe to drive, but it will occasionally give me the error message. They'll need to replace the front seat belts, program them, etc. Cost? Over two grand. Not today, Josephine.

For only $600 and change!

It possibly could've been as much as $1300, so there's that.
