Applegate is the guy whose treasure gets stolen in the book The Tower Treasure, that I’m reading now. No good dubloons or pieces of eight. Just some jewelry and securities. Old man Applegate is such an a-hole that one wishes his treasure was never found.
One fun thing is in tracking down a wig worn by a thief, the boys father flies with them to NY, and they go meet an actor in his dressing room to inquire about the wig. Then they stay and take in the Broadway show, which I thought was a nice touch.
Interesting article Editor RODZINSKI - but I'm sure it will not be as interesting or as popular as one that will appear in the April issue.I think we'll probably get the Pulitzer.

I loved that in Oregon you are not permitted to pump your own gas. Now that we only have one car I have never needed to pump gas since we moved here. I hope that never changes.

Got the car back and thankfully it had stopped raining just prior to me walking back there. Turns out, it's the sensors or something in the front seat belts that triggered this. It's safe to drive, but it will occasionally give me the error message. They'll need to replace the front seat belts, program them, etc. Cost? Over two grand. Not today, Josephine.
