Just had a call from our very own Mr. Nick Redman - I think he'll be taking me out for an early-bird dinner prior to my rehearsal.  So, it looks like I may indeed celebrate.

I have a screening of Kong on Saturday and will try to get up the requisite energy to go see it.

I want more quotes from the Kritzer books - that was just too too much fun.

Well i'm going to take an antihistamine and stay on top of this.  It seems to have gotten a bit better.  When i called the doctor i was not sure if it was chicken pox, hives, allergic reaction or what. And since my doc is not there today.  I thought I would see what I had before I go the doc.

Ah, yes...SELF-diagnosis.  Makes the doctor's job so much easier!

Of course, if you slip into a coma, you won't be able to tell him what the problem is!

Thank goodness for Reactine!  It must have been hives/allergic reaction to something. I am doing much better now.

Well DR RonP, when I called the doctor they did not say to rush in.  I've never had hives or measles so I had no idea what i had.  But I undressed and checked out my body. And it was not all over.

I did check with some health professionals. And they said to try an antihistamine.

Good news - thanks for the release date DR MBARNUM.

Finally the HEAVY snow has started, it is beautiful and frightening!

Yes, Birthday Moppet, you must attend the KING KONG screening and give us the lowdown and upside of the flick.

I think it opens December 14, MB.

Why is everyone just sitting there like so much fish?

I have a cake in my fridge - not sure when I'll dive into it, but it IS my beloved Parisienne Cake, albeit the all chocolate variety rather than the yellow cake variety.

Bruce,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A VERY SPECIAL PERSON!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I don’t think I’m pathetic for buying my own birthday cake so you couldn’t be for doing the same thing.   I guess technically I didn’t buy mine, only ordered it and maneuvered it so Keith picked it up-clever me.

I didn't buy the cake - it was on my doorstep this morning, a gift.

I think I shall go buy a DVD or a CD or something.  Then perhaps I shall watch a DVD or something.

I don't suppose there's a surprise party happening.  But, if there is, don't tell me.

LOL, I do it all the time.  Most the time I'm right, and sometimes the doctor's think they are right and I'm wrong, but it turns out to be the opposite.

Some of my favorite Irving Berlin songs are on this little known CD called "Unsung Irving Berling."  I wonder who came up with that idea?? ;)
 • It's A Lovely Day For A Walk - Liz Callaway & Harry Groener And Chorus
 • You're A Sucker For A Dame - Guy Haines
 • Nothing More To Say - Liz Callaway (really, anything sung by Liz ;D)
 • Take Me With You, Soldier Boy - Shauna Hicks
 • Roses Of Yesterday - Glory Crampton
 • If You Haven't Got An Ear For Music - Liz Larsen
 • I Don't Wanna Be Married, I Just Wanna Be Friends - Klea Blackhurst & Guy Haines
 • You're A Sentimental Guy - Laurie Beechman
 • Wait Until You're Married - Liz Larsen & Sal Viviano

Bruce I hadn’t read your post about the cake yet, I was referring to your comments in this mornings column.  That is so sweet someone left a cake on your doorstep and a fun surprise.

Speaking of cake….. Last night I ate half of my dessert from dinner.  It was delicious, very different from any gingerbread I have had before and topped with whip cream blended with strawberries, like a strawberry shortcake, only with gingercake.

A Cake on My Doorstep.

That is the title of a lost Irving Berlin song.

Benjamin stood there for awhile, then walked over to the gate where Susan and he always met after school.  He looked across the schoolyard, which was now totally empty and silent.  He turned around and walked out the date, leaving behind Crescent Heights Elementary School and a part of his life forever.

Just noticed we are doing a progrom for a pianist named Dino playing Carnegie Hall on Dec. 15. Bio says he plays on "The Dino Show" on some Christian network.
Is that OUR Dino?
