Lunch is reheating.

Since der B's son-in-law has killed a deer and given us the meat, I'm thinking of having Bambi Bourguignon for dinner tonight.

NOW my question for ASK BK day - what is the difference between and screenplay and a scenario?

A scenario usually denotes the "story" - the screenplay is the finished, fleshed out, dialogued script.

If you want to serve beef, I won't argue.

A question for our esteemed BK:

Which cast albums do you wish you could have produced, because you know you could have done them much better?

I don't like to knock the other guy's work, so it's a hard question.  There are certain things like Bounce, where I know I would have done it differently, and had it sound differently - but that's just taste.  Of course, I would love to have done the original Follies, complete and with great sound balances.

BK when you write as screen play does it include "stage directions" or is that something that only a director adds?

This is a repeat link, first posted on Dec. 4th.  But it's worth hearing again, if the language isn't a problem.

Somehow I missed it then.

Imagine that.  Oh, well.

Money can't buy happiness, but it CAN buy a little peace of mind. And 20 minutes in an alleyway, which could be considered happiness, but that's another story...

PIECE OF MIND - That's the title of my next scenario, about a Mensan who frequents alleyways at holiday time.

DVD-R and DVD+R are the two most common recording media, but DVD-R is compatible with more DVD players than the + version. Both are one-time only recording discs, and they're different only by the way the information is encoded on the disc.

Thanks for the info!

What is your book about?  It is fiction or non-fiction?

A question for our esteemed BK:

Which cast albums do you wish you could have produced, because you know you could have done them much better?

Or a variation:  Which cast albums do you wish you could have produced because they were so good?  Like Sondheim's list of songs that he wished he had written.

Actually, it was referring to the next post that I posted because it was such a long post (compared to most) and BK was waiting for an answer to his question and I was taking so long to answer it.

Ann tried to write:

Ann, the [ size=whatever ] code has to be inside the [ glow=.... ] code.  Make sense?

I am deliberately playing e & t today--I didn't get to watch any of TAR last night and I don't want to risk seeing the results on here today, spoiler warnings or no.  I'll post later tonight after I watch it.

Ewwwww.

Money can buy happiness as long as other people don't know you "have" the money.

As for that alleyway, I'd use my money to ensure it was WELL LIT!!

It is bitterly cold here; really this is the first day of the late fall season that has felt fully like winter. [sigh]

I guess fall, my favorite season, is coming to a very abrupt close.

FInished the first disc of Season 2 of GOOD TIMES. Funny and a little pognant too to know Esther Rolle is no longer with us.

Lou Gossett played Thelma's 42-year old boy friend in one episode. Looking at him in this episode, it's clear why he adopted the shaved head look long before it became the fashion.

Then I put in THE GLENN MILLER STORY.

I'm glad to have it on DVD, but the transfer is a disappointment. Far too grainy in spots with color that fluctuates during shots from dim to bright and weird surround processing that puts ambient sound cues in weird spots like front right or the surrounds whether they're appropriate to be there or not.

The music sounds great, but overall I think Universal missed the boat on this one.

Thanks for the thoughts on BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, DR Ron. With yours and DR Elmore's positive views on the movie, it makes me want to see it even more. Alas, you guys are among the lucky ones to be able to see it now. (It's only playing in five theaters presently; it expands a bit this weekend, and then goes much wider in January.)
