This has been a terribly hard day when it absoultely did not have to be because of a couple of inconsiderate nincompoops.

Good Afternoon!

Parts Two and Three of the put-in rehearsal... Done.

Our "new guy" did very well, but he wants to take another day to get the dance steps into his head and body.  So, our swing will go on again tonight, and then Craig D'Amico will make his Arena Stage debut tomorrow night.

I'm just taking a breather right now before grabbing my dinner... As to what will comprise my dinner, well... I threw a couple of things into my mini-cooler before leaving the house this morning, so it's bound to be "healthy" if just more than a little varied and "non-traditional" as far as meals go.

*I've also been snacking on the backstage food this afternoon... More of the jalapeno hummus, some crab dip, etc.   All relatively healthy... But I did bring three pieces of chocolate with me today to enjoy... and they were indeed very enjoyable.

:)

*Besides, my plan is to get a nice long-ish run in tomorrow - about 45 minutes - since it's supposed to another unseasonably warm day.  And dry - it's raining right now.

;)

Who's taking the head count for next Monday's gathering at Barrymore's?  And who is making the reservation?

As soon as I get a count, I'll make a reservation for 6:30, Monday night, Barrymore's.   I'm guessing the usual suspects, but I need a count:

Jason
Jose
TPunk
Rodzinsk
FJL
Ginny & Richard

Here are the bright holiday lights of Grafton Street, the main shopping street in Dublin. It has been closed to traffic but that doesn't help in working around the crush of people on a busy day. It looks nice but we didn't go to Grafton often, because we didn't go to Dublin to shop and because there were just too many people. Look closely and you will see a Burger King. Ugh. We did stop into Marks and Spencers (it's one of my favorite store in the Western European land mass of England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland) and bought Christmas treats but that's all.

Nancy Griffith has a great song about Grafton Street at Christmas time. I can't remember the name of it

[sigh] Out of the frying pan into the fire. I no sooner settle one Ebay problem (7 weeks to get the item purchased, but it DID finally get shipped and arrived two days after shipping) than I believe I may have another one on my hands. I bought something (Buy It Now) on Saturday and have heard nothing from the seller. Now, granted, that's not much time, and it's less than $10, but I guess I can't contact the seller until at least a week has passed.

Why not contact the seller?  I do it when I haven't heard. I just send an email saying, hello I bought this item, paid for it on paypal and here's my address in case you didn't get it.
