No one has said it was canceled. It's going on hiatus in early March for 6 weeks and will return to play out its season. ABC has made no decisions about its shows for next season yet. In fact, the only shows that have been renewed for next season (apart from the ones like ER and LAW & ORDER which had multi-year commitments) are NBC's MY NAME IS EARL and THE OFFICE.

Good Evening!

Another very good audience tonight.  Even the orchestra got applause after the Entr'Acte! -Which is usually "muted" by the change of lights and the direct segue into the opening of Act 2.

And it also happened to be the birthday of our cellist, Deb, too!  And we also had carrot cake.  Yummy!

...And there were some additional goodies in the greenroom tonight - some "leftovers" from a dinner/reception they had in the Old Vat.  Some amazing goat cheese dip concoction - pine nuts, dried cranberries, scallions, etc. - as well as dolmades, hummus, baba ganoujh and tzatziki.  Guess they had a Grecian dinner.

...And since the weather is supposed to unseasonably warm again tomorrow afternoon - after a some rain in the morning - I believe I shall go for my long run tomorrow.  -And after all the knoshing I did at the theatre tonight...

Enjoyed two more SUPERMAN episodes - "The Golden Vulture" and "Jimmy Olsen Boy Editor." The latter was especially funny.

Yes, it's going to be warm here, too, tomorrow. Right now it's likely to get near 70! By Sunday, back to the 40s for highs.

I agree with Mr. Barnum that I would like to see THE CAT WHO.... books by Lilian Jackson Braun brought to life.  I would much rather see them as a series of films or television films, rather than a TV series as Mike suggested.  However, unlike Mr. Barnum, I would go with what a number of people have told me before, and vote for myself to play Qwill.

Another book I would like to see brought to the big screen is THE SHIPKILLER by Justin Scott.  It was a wonderful thrillride of a book.  When I bought my copy back in the 80s it said on the cover "Soon to be a major motion picture".   Well, I am still waiting.

FOUR KINGS has just enough laughs (smiles actually) to keep me watching. It's no laugh riot, that's for sure, but tonight's episode was about the best the series has had in its four airings.

YIKES!

And I just saw the news about the stabbing of Joseph Church.  He was the musical director of The Who's Tommy and The Lion King on Broadway as well as a slew of other projects.  It was a totally random act.  Thankfully, he's in the hospital and they his condition is stable, and they expect him to fully recover.  And they also caught his attacker.

You are right Jennifer, having the SURVIVORs split up into four teams did make it a lot easier to remember who was who...I think this will be a good season!

I'd read several years ago that Sondheim bought the musical theater rights to "Groundhog Day."  I'm still waiting for that. :D

Absolutely nothing interesting has happened in any of my classes so far this semester. Can you believe that none of my teachers have given me anything to complain about? What am I going to do now?

The biggest thing that has happened lately is that a new pita place opened near my bus stop and I got a pita there today that fell apart while I was halfway through eating it.
