Well today was moving day part 2. I don't think my handy man had any idea how much stuff was left there, but after 5 hours of packing hauling and tossing stuff, we are almost done. I do have about 2 or 3 boxes to take over and fill, but then it's done.  The handy man will come back next Saturday and do some work on the old house. Then I'll arrange the cleaning crew and the carpet cleaning and the house will be on the market! Hoo and Ray

Didn't BTO get their inspiration for "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" from someone in Tacoma?

Of course that may have been their songs "Flat Broke Love" or "Gimme Your Money Please".

I have emptied a number of boxes and found some broken antique glass. Not a lot and nothing that valuable monitarily or sentimentally, but it's broken nonetheless.  I really can't do much about it because it's in a box I didn't unpack from the move from the lake. So I don't know who broke it. Such is life

The Left Banke wasn't a British group? They certainly sounded British! My bad.

Well, I like them anyhow! LOL!

I know that Randy Bachman once knew Tacoma's favorite son, Ted Bundy, but I am not sure what inspiration he would have gotten from him.

He was certainly not the inspiration for popular Oz drink "Bundy and Coke"
(Bundaberg Rum).

Didn't I read that CARNIVAL might return to Broadway?

There's a production at Papermill Playhose in New Jersey.  Disney, I believe, had an option on CARNIVAL for a while.

La da da dee da da!

It's all happening here at the zoo....I mean at HHW.

The Tremeloes singing "Here Comes My Baby" always reminds me of Sunday evenings at the roller skating rink, because the DJ always played this song at least 4 times....it was a LOT of fun to skate to.

"Funny Little Clown" - I really like Brian Hyland's version....but he is NOT British at all!

Today in the mail I received my home made DVD of THE STRAWBERRY STATEMENT, so I think I will watch it after a new MADTV.

I am hoping that Ms Linda Purl's show gets a great reception.....the opening number is perfectly chosen!!

Was a Big Yellow Taxi seen in the vicinity?

That was a really pointless meeting. We had a flat tire on the freeway on the way home. Thank goodness for AAA and cell phones!

Well, even though I ended up sleeping in (again) today, it turned out to be quite a busy day, but a good way.

But first...
