Welcome back, DR Elmore.
TOD - Almost any aged cheese is fine by me. The stronger, the better. (Can't stand cheese with "added bonuses" however. The other day, at Trader Joe's, I sampled a some kind of cheese with mango in. Yeck!)
I Love -- and I mean that -- cheese. BUT - I shouldn't eat a lot of it because of high cholesterol (genetic) - so I don't keep any at home. When I go to any gathering that serves cheese, watch out! People must think I haven't eaten for weeks.
Must put in a good day's work. Going to the theater tonight to see THE TEMPEST. This production of the play got excellent reviews (not that reviews mean much). The Tempest is one of those works which can either be sublime or a real trial. It's not easy to do well and when it isn't done well - Oy! (A technical theatrical term.) I've seen it at least ten times throughout my life - the latest being last summer at Stratford, Ontario, with William Hutt, age 80-plus making his farewell appearance as Prospero. Seeing Hutt, still the great artist in full command of his art, was very moving.
