To my great surprise Safeway had Germ-X sanitizer.  The smell of Germ-X doesn't make me sick like other sanitizers do, plus it doesn't irritate my hands as much.  I normally buy the 40oz size and was about to reorder it when the shit hit the fan.  Since then I only saw it sold for expectorant prices online so we have been purchasing other brands.

Since the largest size they had was only 12oz, and it was only one per customer, I paid separately at the self checkout.  The reason for this story is I got change back by paying with cash.

Vixmom, if I were in San Antonio, I’d have mailed you my copy.

If you want to wait until October and can cancel your eBay purchase, let me know.

Expectorant cash sounds most unseemly.

It was interesting to see Michael Callan doing a "Rumble" dance in a sort of West Side Story Light version - I think choreographed by Eugene Loring......

Now I understand why we have a nationwide coin shortage. Never mine what the Federal Reserve says, it's because DRs TCB and Kevin have been hoarding it all in their piggy banks!!

And TCB, I may take you up on your offer.

I am glad that DR VIXMOM got everything in order and that DR JANE doesn't have a leak.....so to speak.

Thanks.  Keith has unplugged our alarms until we get our new carbon monoxide & gas detectors.  The guy did such a great job of checking everything for leaks we are probably safe until they arrive.

Jane, I'm glad it turned out to be nothing except a faulty alarm. I've had good experiences with the gas company and will use them for repairs whenever possible. They've been courteous and very professional.

Yes, the 158-minute is all there is at this point.  I used to cajole Nick about having Sony get to this to restore it to full length, but alas...  The fellow who had the only existing full-length IB Tech/scope/stereo print died a couple of years ago.

DR Jeanne was talking about the shortage of coins the other day.  I actually have quite a few since I pay for everything with credit cards.   I used to need quarters for the washers and dryers in the basement, but for the last few years they take credit cards.   Occasionally there's a problem with the internet so I have to use quarters then.

Regular credit cards or laundry cards?  I think Craig buys laundry cards to use and uses cash to put money on them.

Regular Visa, Master Card, etc.

I watched DON JUAN (John Barrymore) this afternoon.

I'd never seen it before; just clips.

With th exception of Chaplin, Keaton & Lloyd, I'm not big on silent films, but this one was rather entertaining.

The only person who touched me was my namesake and she was double masked, gloved and gowned

Great, especially the double mask.  They are too close for this one.  Did they give you a second mask to wear?

No they didn’t, but my mask is 4 layers with a replaceable filter layer as well , as a 5th layer.  It fits snugly under my chin and up to the bridge of my nose

Well, damnation!  It seems, whenever I find food or treat the cats actually like, it doesn't hang around long.  Thatch's Wild salmon treats are back, but Annabelle loves this Purina dry food with ocean whitefish,  It's the one guarantee I can give her when she's stopped up and not eating.  Well, when I tried to order more this week, Amazon, Petco, and Chewy had removed it from their websites.  I just contacted Purina, and they are no longer making it.

I am sorry.  The Vixter and I were the kiss of death if we visited a restaurant we had passed many times  and kept saying we’d visit.  It would immediately close forever as soon as we enjoyed a meal and vowed to return.

It happened with 4 restaurants .

We watched the new version of Little Women tonight. I enjoyed it more the second time. Mom, however, was very confused by all of the time shifts in the story.
